Ted Cruz Warns Donald Trump Would Nominate A Liberal Justice

Cruz specifically endorsed Roberts, stating that in his opinion, Roberts was a "constitutional conservative."

And what in Robert's record prior to the Obamacare decision would have indicated otherwise? C'mon, oh wise one, you seem to know things that should have told Cruz what Roberts would do in the future - enlighten us!

Roberts wasn't Cruz's choice for the position, but once the choice was made, he supported it.

Considering the vitriol and hatred that Trumpkins shower on anyone that opposes Trump, I have a hard time believing that you or any other Trump supporter would support someone in a Trump administration publicly opposing a Trump decision.

It is a lie that Trump “became conservative” overnight. Downright lie. If you study up on his positions and statements over the years, you would know it was a lie.

Cruz has had many very effective moments in the Republican debates. I recall his summation of the sins of the media to have dominated the postdebate discussion.

Note that Cruz accomplished that with a fluidity of speech, reason, and a brilliant exhibition of memory. Contrast that with Trump and his performance during debates. He cheapens and coursens the entire affair and in the process he trivializes the most important civil decision Americans make.

The reality TV charlatan, wrestling entrepreneur and head shaver, prizefight entrepreneur, and media whore has taken his act to the debating stage and the same public who attend wrestling matches approve. It is a rare thing to blame the electorate, as Donald Trump has often done, but I think it is fair to say that the public at large is reacting to generations of liberal education, reality TV, and the frightening coarsening of the American culture.

It is one thing to mindlessly recite with every Trump grotesquerie that he wins but quite another thing to say that right and wrong matter more.
