Everyone is missing the point, including Newt.
Trump supporters are Trump supporters because they are more than angry about the border and the lack of law enforcement on the border.
They are angry that blue collar jobs and manufacturing are leaving the country.
They are angry about the VA and a long long list of other things....but immigration and jobs are at the top of the list.
So bottom line: Trump supporters could care less that Trump, Jeb and GW are quarreling.
So Trump gets his name on every front page in the country and millions of dollars in free TV and his supporters care not how he gets it because they are convinced that he will build the wall and that he will force nations who sell goods to us free of import taxes to import ours tax free, thereby bringing a lot of manufacturing back to the US.
Certainly many other changes must be made, but you do not win elections with hours of boring discussions on tax law, labor law, etc.
You have to have a straight to the gut theme....MAKE AMERICA great again.

"I think he learns faster than any other political figure I've known except Bill Clinton," Gingrich said on CBS' "Face the Nation."
"He's running on something that nobody in this city understands," Gingrich said. "He's running on winning. The heart of the Trump model is, 'I will make us a winner again.'"
Seems like the Trump bloom is off the rose for Newt.

Oh yeah, I remember that, in bizarro world. Like Romney didn’t have his own dirty tricks group. Like Romney would have been such an improvement over GW Bush. Like Romney didn’t sink his own ship with his weak kneed support of Obamacare.
Yeah, that’s the ticket. Gingrich is at fault for Romney being a worthless GOPe loser. And GW Bush hired Osama Bin Laden to take down the World Trade Center.

Romney damaged himself. He was a poor candidate and everybody knows it.

Newt is a DC lobbyist .
He likes to stay relevant and stay in the news.
He will be cheering fur Trump next week if he gets his chance to be on TV.
