I was not alive in 1957. It says my decade was the 60s, I am probably more a child of the 70s and creature of the 80s. The 90s did not exist; I had kids.

Woo-Hoo, howdy there!
You belong in the 1960s
Well then, if I called you a chick, you wouldn't say:
"You think I'm fowl?" :-)

Well, there were those, too. I went to Carnaby Street in the late 60s and it was a trip! Stuff was too expensive to actually buy, though. LOL!

Cadfael is heading back to the monastery at night when he walks into a fight with bandits. He dispatches a few of them with a quarterstaff to the approval of a young warrior also caught in the fight.
WARRIOR: Good father, where did you learn to wield the quarterstaff like that?
CADFAEL: I am but a mere brother, but I was in the late Crusade.
WARRIOR: You were at the Siege of Jerusalem?!
CADFAEL: I was.
WARRIOR: We must share a tankard of ale. I must hear about that.
It turns out that the young warrior is Cadfael's son by a Muslim woman he bedded during the Crusade before he became a religious brother.

You belong in the 1950s
Nifty! So many classic things came out in the 1950s, and you wouldn’t change a thing about them. You belong in the decade of Elvis, Eisenhower, and the birth of television.

Everybody liked the miniskirt. I knew that if I were good enough for long enough, I would be rewarded by a return of the miniskirt.

The Sixties were about sex and drugs equally. I should know. I was there.

Good evening, Army Bro!
I was sitting in the Office at Annapolis National Cemetery a half century ago talking to my Uncle Jack Dowd, who was then Superintendent there, who showed me an item from Army dispatches of that (1870's) time. He was an avid student of History. This was at the very same time that McNamara was slicing our military budget notwithstanding we were embarking on heavy involvement in SE Asia.
How much blood is on McNamara's hands?

Hey, I was a Beatles fan back then. The proper term was “bird”, not “chick”. :-)
