We see the same thing here and the don’t look happy at all.
And added to what you said, they just don’t know how to really communicate with people. Oh, they can text all day long but face-to-face, many are lost.
Technology has its pluses but it has a lot of negatives, too.
We might not have had as much back in our younger days but we really had so much more than kids today.
Stealth grab. LOL
Did you wear one of your new doo-dahs today? :-)
You belong in the 1960s
Totally mod! You’re a creative person who doesn’t mind change, so you belong in the decade with a lot of social and cultural innovation.
My brother did.
I did! Well, 2 actually. The bracelet with the lavender bead attached to it.
I felt good! LOL!
Lots of 60s flower children out tonight! :)
Thanks for playing!
i’m really 70’s but i came out 50’s. go figure.
Very good! I was hoping you wouldn’t waste time wearing them. Too pretty to leave in the boxes. :-)

IMO, relationships are why we’ve been put on this earth. I’ve recently learned about a new business here in town that stocks hundreds of different board games. You go there with one or many others and check out games and pay by the hour. This business is booming.
People still want to interact with other people - I know I do. So maybe the younger generations will figure it out after all. :-)
What a neat idea for a store! And it sounds like it’s fulfilling a need that probably exists everywhere. Maybe others will open stores around the country like that as time goes on. Sounds like it’s working to drag people’s noses out of their cell phones and actually interact with others in person.
I shake my head in wonder at people who go to restaurants, bars, and the like and spend the whole time with their cell phones out. They rarely look at anyone else in the room, even when they’re sitting with others. Why bother to go out if you aren’t going to converse?
Some things, I’ll never understand. Spending quality time with friends is something I enjoy, and meeting new people is a plus.
((HUGS))Good morning, Ladies. Thanks for this morning's thread, LUV W. Here is the result I got from this morning's quiz:
YOU BELONG IN THE 1980'S
Totally rad! You belong in the decade of Ronald Reagan, Michael Jackson, and Madonna. You're an optimist who appreciates the now, but knows there are plenty of good times ahead too.
It looks like you got hammered trying to get your work done . . . all that extra work due to Monday’s snafu. I know it made for an extra loooooong day and night.
I hope today is a much easier one!
Love it!
We lived in Germany in 68..Took the kids to London and visited Carnaby street, too. My son was 14 and my daughter 12...At night they would OD on English speaking TV and room service rather than go down to dinner with us.

WELCOME TO THE
FR CANTEEN
Good morning, Everyone.
Good morning
Thank you, Luvy, for preparing the Canteen
for today's activities.
You belong in the 1950s.
Nifty! So many classic things came out in the 1950s,
(you being one of them :) )
and you wouldn't change a thing about them.
You belong in the decade of Elvis, Eisenhower,
and the birth of television.
Of course it's the 1950s as I was born then.
Well, fotki has gone to hell
since they moved their server overseas.
Definitely have to work on moving my graphics.
The Canteen is
Come on in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation, silliness, and plain old BS
REMEMBER THEM
DEFENDERS OF FREEDOM

I see your graphics! Looks like a welcome warm up for you!
((HUGS))Good morning, Beach. How’s it going?
