From Liberal Hollywierd. A Christian is very scary. A Christian who puts God first, is even more scary... That and he has problems with his hair.

Geez, he thinks he’s so damned smart. You’d think that truck hitting him would humble him some, but I guess not.

Glad you summarized. I’ve never been able to penetrate the cloud of pomposity that surrounds anything by or about this commercially successful mediocrity.

I actually think Trump, in the end, would be more electable than Cruz because Cruz is a fundamentalist Christian and it would almost be like electing the analog of an Imam--someone whose first guiding principle would be the scripture rather than the Constitution.
That's as far as you'll get with one of these cowards when it comes to criticizing Islam. They always couch it in moral equivalence. They'll only trash a Muslim in the context of trashing Christians, and they'll take on the latter with much greater fervor. It's no surprise that King would think this way. Many of his books and stories feature the stock religious nut character (Christian, of course).

No. The problem isn’t that Christians are scary. The problem is that what I believe we are dealing with is an outer wrapping that can be visualized as Ayn Rand in a Catholic schoolgirl uniform. This covers a core that looks to be one part Nietzsche’s abyss, and one part the decision-making algorithm exhibited by his dad.
Flame away!

Yeah, someone who looks like King probably shouldn’t make fun of other’s looks...but he obviously knows that, and is stirring the pot...

These are quotes from a writer? Sounds more like the ramblings of a 12-year-old.
As for this one:
When he came down that escalator to announce that he was going to run for president, I thought to myself that it was a smart joke....

Gee, Stephen, you thought to yourself? Tell me, how can you think to someone other than yourself?

I doubt that people put any more stock in the ravings of this loon than they do in the raving loon Beck. A wash in loons.

Stephen King is an out of touch liberal elite who lives in a bubble... and he writes well about made-up worlds.
