Monday on his radio show, conservative talk show host Mark Levin took aim at Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump for his attacks on former President George W. Bush during last Saturday night’s debate on CBS.

I was a big W supporter but ended up disappointed in several ways. Still, to accuse him of lying us into war is just crazy. It is dishonesty at its worst, since it looks to be done for Trump’s own personal gain of power.
Also to blame W. for 9/11 is ludicrous. I was actually quite proud of how W. reacted to it. He did a very good job of addressing the issue. Imagine if it happened during the current regime.

Trump isnt looking so good lately. The 9-11 stuff is waaaaaaaaaay out there. Unfortunate because folks wanted him to be a real president. I still think, if he doesnt go nuts, Trump may be the only one to turn the country around.
He also has the Cam Newton complex....cry like a girly boy and blame everyone for your own mistakes....

Prior to O, W had a lock on worst president ever, and beating Jimmy was not a easy thing to do. If you like your middle east as it now exists send W a thank you note. O is Ws’ legacy.

The proper response after 9/11 was to nuke Mecca and Medina and take over Saudi Arabia’s oil. That would have sent an unmistakable message to the Arab world that we are done with terrorism that they support. Muslims respect one thing—overwhelming force. All else they consider weakness. That is the lesson of 1400 years of the West dealing with the Mohammedans.

I disagree.
W. disappointed me with his big government spending (NCLB, Medicare, bailout, immigration.) but he did reduce taxes. Debt went way up, though, since he did not control spending. I look back on his “compassionate conservatism” with a bad big government taste in my mouth.
Also I think he misled about his position on marriage. Everyone around him caved on marriage. Makes me suspect that he was closer to Hillary and Zero on that issue than he admitted. If he lied about something, it was that. Action and sometimes inaction often speak louder than words.
W was imperfect, but very good in some ways. What a disaster Gore or Kerry would have been.

It’s really amazing how many people who we have, in the past, admired have fallen on their sword trying to protect the old worn out status quo.
