Rush Limbaugh: Let’s face it, Trump sounded like a liberal Dem in some things he said at debate

Here we are in a Republican primary, and Donald Trump, out of the blue, starts blaming the Bush family for 9/11, for knowing that the intelligence was made up, that there never were any weapons of mass destruction, and they knew it, Trump said.

Michael Moore doesn’t even say that…

On the stage at a Republican debate, Donald Trump defended Planned Parenthood. Not the abortion stuff, he said, but the fact that they do great things for women’s health. Folks, there were a number of occasions where Donald Trump sounded like the Daily Kos blog, where Donald Trump sounded like the Democrat Underground, sounded like any average host on MSNBC.

I guess Rush is GOP-e now

Rush has been GOPe for many many years. Rush embraced the dark Side back when H.W. was president.

Kinda like calling anybody who doesn’t sufficiently hate Trump “idiots” “liars” “cultists” etc?

Kinda like that?

Before you go off making assumptions and hearing dog whistles that aren’t there, take 15 seconds and read a bit of my comment page.

That’s the problem with the TDSers here and why some of you have turned people away from Cruz

I was not Anti-Trump until he jumped the shark talking like a flaming lib and using liberal talking points to attack Ted Cruz as “the most dishonest person he has ever seen”.

Then I see you and others using liberal talking points to attack Rush Limbaugh. The commie-libs at democRAT blog-land are reading this thread and are agreeing with YOU, not me. You must be proud of that.

Trump has declared war on Ted Cruz. I’m going to hammer every Trump loving moron on Freerepublic that I will have time to.

Rush is dead to me since he declared Marco Freaking Rubio a “principled conservative” and “Reagan disciple” after the MarcoBot debate disaster. WTF, Rush!

You must hate wealth.

Are you saying he didn't earn that money?

LOL, no they’re anything but far right. I don’t care what they call themselves. On foreign policy, libertarians are in lockstep with Code Pink (as is Trump). Libertarians are for completely open borders. On social issues, they are completely atheistic, in line with homosexuals, pro-aborts, drug-legalizers, and the ACLU.

A libertarian is a liberal except on economic issues. Technically, not all liberals are probably for open borders as strongly as they are.

“It bothered me more when Rubio and Cruz said things that sounded like Mexicans. It was in some foreign language. You know, the language of the nations people they are both so eager to stop from coming in.”

Yes, I found that disgusting. Rubio mocked Cruz for not speaking Spanish - in the US! As if it was our official language! Then Cruz had to show he could speak it.

My mother came here from Italy and didn’t teach us Italian, because she came here to be AMERICAN. And so were we!

I vote in every election, muni, primary and general and contribute to Conservative candidates.

And I don’t attack every single messenger, news source, author, commentator and FReeper rather than confront the obvious, numerous and terrifying shortcomings of the most liberal candidate to ever run as a republican.

Now, your turn, why don’t you have the intellectual honesty to discuss what Rush said without discussing me, Rush’s past or his anybody is or is not allegedly GOPe. You’ll be the first trumpeter all day to do so.

Good Grief.

You think THAT was an attack? It has nothing to do with Trump.

You must be lying on the floor for something as simple as this to go so far over your head.

I noticed today that Rush Limbaugh enjoyed saying over and over the term “emotional incontinence”, a term he picked up from some Trump hater writing about Trump’s manner of presentation Saturday night.

Limbaugh once stated that the Trump candidacy was removing the cover off certain people, and it is in his case — revealing him to be a devious POS.

It is his show, he can do anything he wants, but this act of claiming he will stay away from endorsing anyone, and maintaining objectivity while making himself an adjunct to the (now) Cruz campaign and slamming Trump is devious.

Hannity is the only one who has maintained his honesty.

“Rush Dimbulb”

May as well be written by Harry Reid. Congrats on your creative use of liberal speak.

For all of his obnoxiousness and childish playacting in an adult world of American politics, if it came down to it, I'd have to vote for the slimy bastard.

The best one could hope for is that he picks a GOOD Veep, and when he finally does something so pathetically moronic, as long as there is a GOP dominated Congress, he can be impeached and sent packing....leaving a decent GOP veep in place to move conservatism forward.

No more so than the elitist cult that calls everybody juvenile names who don’t hate Trump as much as they do.

Like about every talk show host, they need a deeply troubled country to line their pockets.

I don't have a problem with someone taking advantage of an opportunity. It's called capitalism.

Cruz attacked first. He also lied to voters and threatened voters.

Yet Trump pointing it out is the problem? you’re like the mother of a bully.
