As a sitting Senator who worked for George W. Bush, Ted Cruz is not an outsider as he likes to claim, heâs an insider. His DC insider connections go back to 1997 when he began working to prepare testimony for the impeachment of Bill Clinton. During that period of time he also served as legal counsel for former Rep John Boehner. Cruz joined the George W. Bush Campaign in 1999 as a domestic policy adviser and worked in 2000 for the Bush team in the Bush v. Gore Florida recount. He also recruited future Chief Justice John Roberts to the Bush legal team, which is a far cry from his claims of non-support given in the Saturday debate. Theres a reason why Cruz does not have the resume of an outsider. Its because hes an insider pretending to be something hes not. His wife Heidi is currently on leave from Goldman Sachs while sheâs working for her husbandâs campaign. Theyâre the CFR political revolving door and financial giant which gave us their former CEO, Hank Paulson, as treasury raider and wealth redistributor, aka Treasury Secretary and TARP architect. She also worked in the Bush administration beginning in 2003 as the director for the Western Hemisphere on the National Security Council under National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice. Cruz is a former member of the Council on Foreign Relations, an organization her husband condemned in a 2011 speech, at a time in which she was still working there, as a pernicious nest of snakes that is working to undermine our sovereignty.

Mrs. Cruz worked on a top Bush agenda item, the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, their name for the North American Union. It was quite similar in its composition to the TPP. Although TPP is larger in scope than merely North America, it does in many ways effectively erase our borders and greatly diminishes our sovereignty. Heidi Cruz was assigned to the CFRs project which was titled, Building a North American Community report.
It is also more than a little suspicious that Ted Cruz supposedly fought a battle as David against the Obamacare Goliath in late 2013. When he lost against overwhelming odds and with little support, it became the foundation for the surrender to the White House by Republicans in both the House and Senate on every issue of importance since. The supposed fear of being âblamedâ for shutting down the government was born, as was the presidential career of the new maverick, Ted Cruz. For one who is supposedly so despised by the establishment, he couldnt have given them a more universal tool of treachery than what he did. As a supposed outsider, nobody would suspect the scheme, and he already knew John Boehner from all those years before. It could easily be dismissed as conspiracy theory, that always works.
Cruzâs tactic against Trump is obvious, to portray him as a liberal in the conservative, southern state of South Carolina. If heâs successful in destroying Trumpâs reputation and steals his support, he could then ride the wave that a victory creates into other states, claiming that he is the lone true conservative and political outsider.
Cruzâs antics indicate heâs not a true anything. While he wants voters to question the conservative credentials of Donald Trump and by extension his honesty, and acceptability, candidate Cruz would do well to dispense with the outsider shtick. Being unpopular can put one on the outside but that is much different from a lack of affiliation or attachment. Both he and his wife are insiders, tied closely to one of the most powerful political families in America, the Bushes. Theyâre about as insider as you can get.
Trump supporters arent easily swayed by cheap political theatrics. Theyâre the ones who pay attention year round, year after year. Theyve seen whatâs been done to their country. Cruzs stage presentation is nothing new and their resumes are becoming well known. They re establishment pretending they re not; the people arent fooled.
Fact.
Ted Cruz is one of if not possibly the most conservative member of the Senate.
That’s just a fact.
Any attack that implies he is a liberal is laughable at face value.
Trump supporters aren’t swayed, but, Cruz supporters are deceived. This article sums up everything I’ve been saying about Cruz - he isn’t an outsider as he pretends to be. I also saw a video where he denied knowing John Boehner. Another big, fat lie from the Canadian.
His wife was a mid-level manager at Goldman-Sachs? Wow, that changes everything!
Cruz has planned his deception for quite awhile. Shame many can’t seem to see the connections. I guess they do not want to see it.

EXHIBIT TWO----On Cruz' official Senate web site-----Cruz posted on his Immigration page what he apparently considers to be his accomplishments:
CRUZ WEB SITE: In 2013, Sen. Cruz proposed amendments to the "Gang of 8" bill that would strengthen border security, expand green card opportunities, increase high-skilled "H1B" visas, prevent illegal aliens from receiving welfare benefits, and enforce the rule of law.
Even after the bill died, when Cruz had the opportunity, he did not identify his amendment as a "poison pill." Cruz glaringly omitted his current stance....that he was only bluffing.

EXHIBIT THREE---A huge red flag is that Cruz seemingly grovels for latino votes....consistently depicting himself as "latino" Yet his family bgrnd indicates only his father is Spanish; his mother is not---has two nationalities, one from each of her parents. If he was a DemocRat, he could get away with claiming he is fully and authentically Hispanic, just as Obama has gotten away with claiming he is fully and authentically black. But as a Republican, that is out of the question.
The glib staunch Christian Cruz even gulled the Senate biographer into believing he is the first Hispanic elected to the US Senate.
He shouted out in Spanish to Rubio at the debate---even thou he has trusting Texans believing he doesn/t speak Spanish.
Anxiously awaiting the stampede from the GOPe to support the insider.
Let’s just destroy the only conservative in the race. That way we either get a liberal (Trump) or a communist (Clinton or Sanders) for president.
Midlevel make $700,000/yr. Good job for mid level.
Did you read the article? If so, which parts of it do you refute? If not, what’s the point of your comment?
Is the Cruz campaign paying Heidi?
Something like that should be public knowledge.
They still don’t like him because he is perceived as using the Senate to run for POTUS. He is a junior Senator who didn’t wait his turn.
That is the way they think.
A Constitutional Conservative and Texan with rock solid record an unimpeachable core values...
OR
A big government NYC progressive with almost 70 years of ever evolving positions and questionable values.
Tough choice.
It was Chesterton who said something to the effect that progressives (liberals) make the mistakes and the conservatives, when in power, don't fix them.
If anyone doesn't believe this, then take an open, eyed look at the score card of Republicans in the last two years.
Trump doesn't need any help in being portrayed as a liberal. He does a great Michael Moore impression about GWB, slings Alinsky leaning insults like a pro and he thinks Planned Parenthood does "great work".
Ted’s wife, Heidi Cruz, was Vice President of Goldman Sachs until NINE DAYS after Cruz was elected senator, at which time she was promoted to MANAGING DIRECTOR. There’s only one position higher than managing director, and that’s “partner.”
Donald Trump is relying on, and using, conservatives’ hatred of the Washington Political Establishment, especially the GOPe in order to blind his supporters to the fact he is a big liberal.
Fact.
Ted Cruz is one of if not possibly the most conservative member of the Senate.
That’s just a fact.
Any attack that implies he is a liberal is laughable at face value.
Fact: Ted Cruz did not advance the conservative agenda in the U. S. Senate. Not one inch.
That’s just a fact.
Yeah no wonder he was such a go along and get along Senator for the Turtle McConnell.
Guess you missed where Cruz provoked Obama to shut down the government over Obamacare setting the stage for the pubs to win the Senate in spite of the RINO’s best efforts, or was a key contributor in stopping the gang of eight while Trump was pro amnesty at the time (recall his admonishing Romney to not be too harsh on illegals).
