“WOW! You’re depending on a game show host with a Napoleon complex to save the constitution.”
Well, I would depend on a Constitutional Scholar/Lawyer who was editor of the Harvard Law Review. I think we just tried that one and it didn’t work....
by choosing a candidate who stands for the Constitution
would = wouldn’t
Would that be the same Constitutional Scholar/Lawyer your game show host praised as doing a great job?
I think I see your problem.
âhe is looking forward to debatingâ
I have noticed during the debates that the way Cruz loves to debate is to filibuster away his time on any question he is asked.
But he will make wild assertions, and his fans think he is great.
You would think that a Constitutional Giant like Ted Cruz would know that we were endowed with the Right to Keep and Bear Arms by our Creator, like it says in the Declaration of Independence.
It's one of those Pesky Certain Unalienable Rights.
The Second Amendment merely tells the FEDERAL government to keep its grubby mitts off of that particular Pesky Unalienable Right.
So, the day that the Second Amendment gets written out of the Constitution is Go Day. We won't have to dither around any more, waiting for Godot. :)
Cruz could learn something from H.L. Mencken, about spitting on his hands like a normal man, and hoisting the black flag...
Trump said on Saturday: "In times of delay, we could have a Diane Sykes, or you could have a Bill Pryor, we have some fantastic people..."
Nbc isn’t a right protected by the constitution or bill or rights. The constitution. References nbc but doesn’t define it. Instead it assumes the historical meaning which grants natural born citizenship to children born outside of the country to an American. The Constitution grants powers to Congress which are used to make laws. It is under those laws which nbc is defined. It is also under those laws and Constitution in which the office of President exists.
I’d say God is indeed worthy of worship. Whereas the Don isn’t even a good winner.
Trump is for partial birth abortion, too. Can’t trust anything he has said for the last five years.
I really have no idea at all why you are talking to me about natural born citizens, driftdiver.
I’m talking about the Second Amendment, which is the subject of this thread.
Now why are you talking to me about NBC? I believe Cruz is eligible.
Proof? Do you mean the Tim Russert interview almost 20 years ago when Raphael was still in school? Tou'll have to try better than that mere opinion of a businessman. Ronald Reagan himself SIGNED the right to abortion for all Californians 7 years before Roe v. Wade. I guess Reagan was a liberal progressive we couldn't trust. Oh and Reagan also signed a gun control law...I guess as president Reagan would "write the 2nd Amendment out of the Constitution"....RIIIIGHT? It's amazing what denial is required to follow Raphael Cruz.
The problem is I don’t believe him about this any more than I do with all of his other numerous positions changes since running for office. Looking at what he’s said in the past about issues and about the justices I just don’t trust him.
Give 0bama one more justice, give Hillary or Bernie (or some Republicans) one more, and we may have a Supreme Court that will declare the Constitution unconstitutional.
Ted Cruz is a liar.
Evidence, please?
