Bush did not lie about WMDs but he did not defend himself by demonstrating that considerable WMDs were indeed found and destroyed while others were dispersed.
“Bush lied”, making a joke out the morale-boosting “Mission Accomplished” aircraft carrier landing, everything being the fault of GWB...It’s all weak stuff, people. As they say down south, it’s “powerful weak”!

I think there were two reasons for Iraq:
1- secure wmd’s
2- strategic and tactical positioning of U.S. power....for a hundred great reasons.
That the weapons were moved to Lebanon and buried, put them in a secure place. But the other reason for going-in was far more important.
Bush and friends did a very good thing,
knowing the weapons were no longer in-country. It was simply necessary for world peace and stability. I give G.W. credit for foresight.

Jeb should not expect Trump to defend his brother’s honor, and he should have known this type of attack was coming, as Trump has used it in the past. If W won’d speak up due to his “new tone” crap, people shouldn’t be blaming Trump.
It was the Bush administration that negotiated the time line for withdraw and it was the Bush administration that negotiated the number of troops to be left in Iraq.
