GOP mega-donors frozen in frustration
Politico ^ | 02/12/16 | KENNETH P. VOGEL

Some of the biggest Republican donors, who collectively have contributed tens of millions of dollars to shape the presidential race, are tightening their purse strings out of frustration with their inability to boost their favored candidates, or to slow Donald Trump.

Rather than continuing to write huge checks to support the cluster of establishment candidates jockeying to emerge as the leading alternative to Trump, a billionaire real estate showman roundly despised by the GOP elite, these donors have mostly retreated to the sidelines. They're watching anxiously, hoping that the field sorts itself out, according to interviews with a half dozen major donors or their representatives.

Many of the donors are urging the deep-pocketed groups they've already funded to begin spending against Trump, even as some recognize the potential for such spending to backfire, and are increasingly questioning the efficacy of big-money advertising campaigns more generally.

Impressive. One man has single-handedly managed to derail the entire election-buying gravy train.

These overseers keep trying to trick/betray/control us to stay on/in their faux conservative plantations by selecting their ilk as our candidates.

In NH, Trump and his voters ignored them. His voters then voted big time for Trump. They won and broke the rules of the plantation masters by voting for Trump in NH. This is scaring our former neocon GOPe masters of the faux conservative plantations and their ilk, the Club for Growth.

It is wonderful to see this decades old, long standing corrupt political system disintegrating right before our eyes. This corrupted system hates working Americans. It rewards illegals and those who bring them into America to freeload off the American workers slaving in the faux conservative plantation.

We are seeing a paradigm shift with us selecting our Presidential Candidate, instead of the GOPe elites, who hate us, selecting our candidates.

There is a Black Swan event occurring with the daily suicidal self wrought destruction of the GOPe, Open Border Thugs, DC faux pundits, Faux News, ABCNNBCBS and the left wing fish wraps. Something similar may be happening with the DEMes.

Many of us are looking forward to seeing the broken bones, drying blood and entrails of the Lying GOP Open Borders Elite, The Club for Growth, their DC faux conservative pundits, their mediots, their phoney pollsters and focus groups, Faux, ABCNNBCBS, their hired tv and radio hacks strewn across the primary states as much as our victories in those states.

We have escaped from their faux conservative plantations. We are not going back for more lies, abuse and mistreatment from our former GOPe masters.

We will vote for Trump and destroy them!

Trump is not for sale, these people bought a congress that broke its promises pleasing these Bribe Merchants.

Now the people are pissed at a do nothing congress.

Bribing congress was for the few special interests at the expense of American jobs so we got more unemployed as jobs left America, as jobs went to H1b (over 1 million) to illegals depressing wages, and taking jobs Americans need.

These Bribe taking Congressmen and Senators, don’t give a crap about your families. Leaving the border open to drugs that hook Americans. Illegal aliens here to commit crimes 175,000 of them.

They’re going to invest that money in down-ticket Senators and Representatives who will fight to keep the Cheap Labor Express running and on time...

Doubt if he really cares. Never saw a Democrat stick around long after they destroyed an area, if they had the money to move on.

If they alienate the Trump supporters they will lose the election in November.

Hillary, Jeb, Rubio, they don’t care as long as it is a globalist.

Cost to buy a President:

Hillary Clinton: 2 billion dollars.

Bernie Sanders: 2 billion dollars.

Jeb Bush: 2 billion dollars.

Marco Rubio: 2 billion dollars.

Ted Cruz: 2 billion dollars.

Donald Trump: Priceless.

Despite the repeated efforts of the paid Cruz-Trolls at FR to pretend Donald Trump is the secret head of a billionaires round-table that’s trying to secretly install him to run the country solely for their benefit, this article is proof positive that the billionaires loath and fear Trump.

What has YOUR candidate done lately ?

Does that mean you think that more folks are donating to Cruz and the others now? How about you take a poll on FR and find out how many actually donate (I do) to any candidate and how their donations have gone up/down with as the deal progresses.

I started out donating to Cruz for the first 6 months - looked at the overall big picture and decided to start donating to Trump.

The better question is, "What have you done for your candidate to help him succeed?".....
