Donald J. Trump â@realDonaldTrump 6 minutes ago
If @TedCruz doesn't clean up his act, stop cheating, & doing negative ads, I have standing to sue him for not being a natural born citizen.
(Excerpt) Read more at twitter.com ...
There are plenty on both sides that fit that bill.....six months ago you would not have had any one criticizing Ted Cruz.....now he's regularly disparaged by numerous Trump supporters. All because Trump did a complete 180* on half of the things he used to believe. I hope he's being honest...but name me anyone else you would believe that of at the present time!!!
Obviously you know nothing of the cool million he gave for the New York Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Obviously you know nothing of the quarter million he gave to the Veterans parade and the other quarter million he raised for them. The vets said the parade would have never taken place without Donald Trump. That was a long time ago. Had nothing to do with any campaign, but was simply a gift from his heart. Too bad cynics like you have never given much of anything except a lot of useless blathering.
Just shut up and do whatever you have to do!
Remember the time Trump opposed the so called ban on assault weapons before running for President?
I can’t either.
Trump may have standing but doesn’t have the stones to sue. Trump is all talk, and he’ll say anything.
Grow up.
Ted Cruz Is A 'Natural Born Citizen,' Board Of Election Finds
"Further discussion on this issue is unnecessary."
"The Candidate is a natural born citizen by virtue of being born in Canada to his mother who was a U.S. citizen at the time of his birth," the board said, reasoning that Cruz met the criteria because he "did not have to take any steps or go through a naturalization process at some point after birth."
Both objections, which on their face seemed to carry little weight, had forced lawyers for Cruz to formally respond and offer appropriate counterarguments.
In response to the filings, Cruz's lawyers relied on Supreme Court precedent, legal history and articles from noted constitutional scholars to defend the view that he is in fact "natural born" within the meaning of the Constitution.
The lawyers also pointed to the valid candidacies of two former Republican hopefuls, Sen. John McCain of Arizona and former Michigan Gov. George Romney, as examples of presidential runs that received the blessing of Congress, courts and other means to proceed, despite the fact that both men were born abroad and raised eligibility questions.
These and other sources of authority, the lawyers said, "all command the same conclusion" that Cruz complies with the "natural born" requirement.
Agenda minutes for the Illinois Board of Elections -- which include its determinations in the two challenges to Cruz's eligibility plus a separate one Graham filed against Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) -- can be found here.
Who said I was worried?
Instead of just tweeting a lot of bluster just get going and file suit...what’s stopping him?
The issue has already been decided in Illinois and I believe New Hampshire(?). In both cases Cruz was declared eligible and allowed on the ballot.
Keep denying the truth, the dishonest stance by Ted and his supporters in their attempts to abrogate and subvert the Constitution, convinces me to vote for Trump.
So do it & quit blabbing about it, oh mighty Orange One.
“This issue should go to court and be settled.”
Cruz should’ve had enough respect for his donors and supporters to have taken care of this issue years ago. It has been out there hanging around for a long time. Why didn’t he do that?
Where was the Donald when it came time to serve his country during the Vietnam War?
Crickets...................
You simply cannot hide that Cruz is willing to go in the gutter and enlist porn stars. He just got caught doing it. Facts are facts!
So you are saying that if McCain’s mother had gone to town that day and given birth at a McDonald’s he would not have been eligible...Really!!! Do you ever think about this stuff??
Trump is wealthy enough to use a lawyer to sue rather than prosecute a lawsuit using Twitter ... t'would be interesting, though.
EVERY time Trump makes a statement like this he becomes headline news and spends nary a dime to get wall to wall bumper to bumper coverage by the MSM.
In turn, at the same time that he does this, he casts a shadow over Cruz in the eyes of those who may just wonder if he really might NOT be eligible to run.
In any event, he doesn't seem to hurt himself, as been proven again and again.
In the meantime, most of you Cruz-bots continue to make comments like "What a nutjob."
It's actually becoming comical.
It does prove Trump seems to easily out think his competition and gets maximum media coverage without spending a dime.
"Rock On" Donald J.
What planet are you on?
