Donald Trump ready to take on George W. Bush
Bluefield Daily Telegraph ^ | 2/11/16 | AP

Republican Donald Trump is previewing the attacks he plans to unleash against George W. Bush when the former president hits the campaign trail for his brother next week.

Trump tells a crowd of thousands at a rally in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, that he has read reports about the former president's plans to campaign with former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.

Trump says Jeb Bush "tried the mother, that didn't work out so good. Now he's bringing in his brother."

Trump repeated his own opposition to the war in Iraq and pointed to George W. Bush "getting us in that quicksand."

He says, "That was a horrible call to go in."

Trump says he'll leave Jeb Bush alone if his campaign stops airing negative ads against him.

Well, let’s hope Trump reminds everyone it was W 43 that started the “Come to American and live ON welfare and OFF the Taxpayers” campaign to anyone in Mexico and Central America that wanted to move here.

W is as big a phony as Sanders or Clinton. Stupid limp-wrist.

Trump was never anymore ‘in love’ with Obama than Ted Cruz was. Taking things out of context is dishonest.

Cruz: I respect BarackObama a great deal’
8/8/13

In an interview with Time magazine, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, explained that he respected President Obama and even modeled his own campaign for senate after his presidential campaign.
“I think Barack Obama is an extraordinary politician,” Cruz said. “And I respect Barack Obama a great deal. I think he is committed to his principles, which is rare in politics.”

Cruz did go on to say he objected to some of Obama’s policies.

Trump sends warning shot. It would be unbecoming for an ex-President to go into attack mode. So most likely Trump will not have to counterpunch.

Exactly...Posting comments made only 3 months after an election about the president is kinda shallow at best...

It doesn’t reflect at all about how things are 7 years down the road....

Two Months before 9/11:

U.S. considers residency for illegal Mexicans [2001]

The Bush administration is considering a proposal to give the more than 3 million illegal Mexican nationals in the United States legal status to remain, senior administration officials said Monday.

The officials said the idea is just one of several proposals contained in a report due on President Bush’s desk this week. The issue also is likely to be considered at a meeting between Bush and Mexican President Vicente Fox, scheduled for September.

Indeed. There is no question about what Trump came to think of Barack Obama after he’d been in office for a bit. Heck, I even hoped he’d do well!

It's human psychology I guess.

It's the reason why SO MANY Americans continue to vote for Democrats and align with Liberalism, even though the Dems are very clearly corrupt and despicable.

People admire strength. People want to be on the winning team.

Can anybody say that the Conservative movement and the Republican party are strong or are the winning team?

Not for the past 30 years.

That's why Trump will win. He's strong and doesn't take any crap.

Bush’s 2001 Amnesty push to legalize all the Illegal Mexicans in the U.S. also gave us 9/11. He was having an Amnesty Summit with Vicente Fox less than a week before 9/11! Bush wasn’t paying attention to anything except for the Mexican legalization drive for the first 8 months of his term.

Soo. The Republican front runner isn’t gonna take on Hillary and Bernie. He’s gonna take on a former Republican President?

If W wants to tangle he's gonna get tangled up by the best of them. If he gets out there he's fair game. His presidency was a disaster.

If W is going to campaign against Trump, Trump shouldn’t be a W and fail to defend himself. For starters he could remind people that when W left office we were in the biggest meltdown since the Great Depression
