The California bullet train project violates state law because it is not financially viable, will operate slower than promised and has compromised its design by using existing shared tracks in the Bay Area, attorneys for Kings County and two Central Valley farmers argued Thursday in Sacramento County Superior Court.

The lawsuit asserts that the state's plans for the Los Angeles to San Francisco high-speed rail link violate restrictions placed on the project under the $9-billion bond act that voters approved in 2008.

Want to understand the Bullet Train, just watch the movie THE PRODUCERS.

The project is not really meant to succeed. Oh, the money will be spent, but do to poor record keeping over the years, it will be impossible to determine for what or to whom.

And in the end, there really will not be anything to show for it.

Laws and economics are irrelevant. Your Democrat masters want a choo choo train so they shall have one, no matter what it costs you.

One beneficiary will be Dianne Feinstein and her hubby.

Keep in mind that HUD has a budget of over $465 BILLION & the current Inspector General for that Cabinet cannot find records for over $210 BILLION of that budget. His statement was “The records are in a shambles”. No action taken by the Obama administration, yet, either.

“No action taken by the Obama administration, yet, either.”

Nor Congress. They just rubber stamped the next check and patted themselves on the back for averting a govt ‘shutdown’.

Any private Citizen/biz/corp. would be behind bars. Govt? Eh, it’s only taxpayer $$
