The New Hampshire results have solidified the reigning cliche that the 2016 campaign is an anti-establishment revolt of both the left and the right. Largely overlooked, however, is the role played in setting the national mood by the seven-year legacy of the Obama presidency.
Yes, you hear constant denunciations of institutions, parties, leaders, donors, lobbyists, influence peddlers. But the starting point of the bipartisan critique is the social, economic and geopolitical wreckage all around us. Bernie Sanders is careful never to blame President Obama directly, but his description of the America Obama leaves behind is devastating â a wasteland of stagnant wages, rising inequality, a sinking middle class, young people crushed by debt, the American Dream dying.

>> America already has its caudillo <<
Yep, the old “two wrongs make a right” meme surfaces again.
He’s worse than a RINO; he’s a Democrat pretending to be a conservative and promising bigger government.
Is there anyone who disagrees with you that you will listen to anymore ?
Trump people have blocked out anything they think is anti Trump
Cruz people do the same
As far as I can see if everyone in print has opinions that are tainted why bother with a site like FR which is comprised of nothing but articles ?
You have your opinion which is supreme so if you want to disseminate it, get a blog and have at it....
Im not saying there is no room for disagreement
I disagree with a lot of writers but I still value what they write
New York Times, Slate, Salon, Politico, Huffpo, Washington Post, Red State, NRO, even Town Hall sometimes when a so-called ‘conservative’ is concerned.......all of them partisan against Trump or Cruz in one manner or another.
What we have here lately are mostly ‘articles’ from hacks of liberal or so-called conservative puppets of these rags used to demean Trump (or Cruz).
This site didn’t used to be so ulterior. Washpo, Huffpo, Slate, Salon and Politico were nearly always largely taken in ridicule. Now when they puff up some so-called token conservative that can be used to hit Cruz or Trump, we HAVE to take them seriously? Give me a break.
I don’t have to get my own blog, nor do you have the right to criticize my distrust which I have fully explained here many, many a time. Further, I don’t have to automatically ‘value’ someone’s screed who has shown me over and over again they don’t know what they’re talking about - particularly when they wouldn’t recognize drive-by America, even if they happened to ‘drive-by’ it by mistake.
