Weâve noted before that a textbook written by Jonathan Gruber, the MIT economist who played a central role in the development of Obamacare and credited its passage to the âstupidityâ of Americans, is mandatory reading for students in public-finance courses around the country.

Public finance courses == socialism.
It’s a PAY-OFF.
Profs require the kids to buy the book, and there might be a SINGLE exam question regarding the content.
It’s good for the author and also good for the department, since often they cut a side-deal with the publisher.
Sometimes departments get a cut of the action for simply having required the book.
The kids knowingly pay tuition, but they unwittingly are made to pay these bribes.
What is it named? How to feed the people shit and convince them that it’s chocolate pudding.
This is disgusting. Gruber is disgusting. Berkeley is disgusting.
I had more than one course where the prof had written the required textbook. None of the books were worth keeping.
Maybe the policy should be that if you wrote the book you’re teaching from, proceeds for the sales should revert back to the students. Otherwise, it’s double-dipping.
Well Big Sis runs Berkeley right? So it’s gotta be a pre arranged Obama approved kickback to thank him for fooling the stupid Americans.
$255.
$255 per book, the same Uni. 140 million upside down per yesterdays thread.
Why hasn’t he been fired????
“Why hasnât he been fired????”
Democrats have no issues with gypsy, murders and thieves,
especially those made whole by frucking Judge John Roberts.
Except for the Central Valley. People who grow food for other people are never disgusting.
There. Finished it.
One of the best professors I had forced us to buy his “book”. It was a collection of photocopies and exercises that also doubled as a good reference “book” ... I still refer to it from time to time ... Cost was $10 or thereabouts. He also had a recommended book that was also useful as a reference after the class.
I still can’t understand why students are forced to buy the latest and greatest classical physics and calculus books each year. Then again, with common core, I suppose math changes year to year now and the integral of x dx is now (x^4)/4 + c . Or maybe it’s whatever you want it to be.
mandatory reading for students in public-finance, read? they can read? Our congress idiots didnt read it!
