In last night's live phone feed that streamed for several hours on YouTube (while tens of thousands listened in), they said that they would give themselves up this morning.
Cliven Bundy flew to Oregon to be with Franklin Graham for the event...but he was stopped when he landed in Portrland and arrested. supposedly he has been taken to the same facility where Ammon is being held.
Apparently they are charging Cliven with the same thing as his sons, felony conspiracy to impede officers of the United States from discharging their official duties, in connection with the 2014 standoff in Nevada.
They have allowed him to go about his life without any charges since then...well over a year...but apparently have decided that this charge is something they can make stick against him and his sons.
Anyone involved in the Nevada incident better be on their guard now as I expect they will now round up others too.
What impact the arrest of Cliven is going to have I cannot say.
IMHO, the Federal managers involved in this keep trying to anty up the situation when there is no real need to.
They could just as easily have arrested cliven on his way hom (if they were bound and determined to do so) afyter the negotiated surrender, as to do it before the actual surrender.
The issues these people have protested are real and they should be protested. You may agree or not with their methods...but they have very valid reasons for doing what they are doing...and in essence, they are the same things we protested against at Klamath Falls in 2001.
The abject trampling of citizen rights by an out of control Federal government.
Our founders understood it. It is PRECISELY what they did against the over-burdensome and tyrannical English government of their day. They ended up being inspired in their writing of the Declaration of Independence and then the US Constitution to outline what the federal government's role is...and they are pretty explicit about it.
Now we live in a day when those constraints are being trampled and a new generation of people recognize the same truths...

How come it’s OK for government for decades now, to aid and abet tens of millions of trespassers into our country, and then force Americans, literally at gun point to pay for all while these trespassers are coddled and given tax dollars, gifts and prizes?

One holdout David won’t go. At this point I think he’s got a bad case of I don’t want to go to the slam. I don’t blame him but I think its too late now.
From the live feed, it sounds like the real issues at this point are abortion and taxes, not ranchers.
This woman and others are too focused on what they think is right.
She keeps saying that he must walk out...he needs to walk out...that his will some how be guilty if he “makes his stand.”
But that may not be the case. God may be working through this confused young man and his intention to stand for the principles he has made.
There are things that are worth dying for. There are things that are with fighting for and risking all for.
Each person has to decide for themselves...with God’s help hopefully, where that line is.
David is making that decision on a national stage.
Oh...she is now asking him exactly where he is standing and to describe it. He has to know that she is trying to feed info to the Feds. she is asking him to sit up where he can be seen.

These people talking to him had no idea who David was and what was motivating him and were completely unprepared for someone like him..
It is clear to me that David is not coming out.
Prayers have been answered. David is out and in custody. The poor man was almost incoherent after such an ordeal. All the people who saved these people and especially the ones who alerted a whole nation about the situation are true heroes along with the protesters. We should honor all of them by standing up for the things we’ve heard them talk about today as bravely as they did.
Did Trump find his running mate in Micelle Fiore. What a gal!
