When you do, you realize how often what Obama says is morally and intellectually confused and even untrue.

No American of any stature has said that "America is at war with Islam".
This is the problem. Islam IS at war with everyone else, especially America. Unless you understand that Islam is far more that what Americans think of as "religion", then you will not recognize this war or the necessity to fight it.
Opposition to the political & legal aspects of Islam is not the moral equivalent of antisemitism or racism. It is the equivalent of opposition to communism, fascism or the rule of America by Mexican drug catels.

Of course, there's always the response that they treat Jews and Christians as aecond-class citizens at best. But if you want some real fun, try asking that if Islam teaches respect for "People of the Book", what does it say about other religions? I've tried it, and you usually get stuttering, a confused look, then silence. Buddhism? Hinduism? Zoroastrianism?
Then ask them about how open Islam is if a Moslem wants to convert to another religion.
