Remember when the signs said “Catholics need not apply.” Those were mainly Italian Catholic immigrants.
This MAN is squandering the hard won moral authority of the person filling the office of Pope.
He can go back to his church and stay out of politics.

Can you give me a Bible verse for what a "mortal sin" is apart from other sins? Where does God say that? Thanks.
It’s sickening to see a Communist Pope telling sovereign countries what to do and encouraging foreign citizens to invade the US. ....I hope we have a large armed force at the border there to prevent a mass rush across the border.

One morning I’m going to wake up and read that 1000 poor little Muslim migrants stormed the Vatican over night. They destroyed the Swiss Guard immediately, beheaded the Pope and everyone else inside. Then they set fire to 2000 years of Christian History.

The Bible says that some people will go to Hell, correct?
Well, mortal sin is what causes that.
If the Roman Catholic position is true, and if I were catholic, I'd never let a priest out of my sight.
My salvation is secure because Jesus Christ has accomplished his work. That is what Scripture teaches. It is absurd to say that I am incapable of committing a sin that constitutes rejection of that grace, and Scripture does not teach absurdities.
What sin can you do that has not been canceled out, taken out of the way and nailed to the cross??
Those who do not believe in Christ will go to Hell....yes.

Scripture teaches that God stands ready to forgive all sins. Scripture does not teach that God can forgive unrepentant people.

John and Paul disagree with you.
You're consigned to an eternity in Hell??
Can you in any way square that away with the two verses I posted from John and Ephesians?
Easily. A person who commits a mortal sin is REJECTING the grace offered to him by God.
You’re not going to say that Scripture teaches that people who REJECT Jesus Christ are going to Heaven, are you?
