Notice it says ALL MANNER of sin and blasphemy will be forgiven. It doesn’t say ALL sins and blasphemies will be forgiven. The notion that the “sin against the Holy Spirit” is the only sin that will not be forgiven is preposterous. Any sin for which the sinner never repents cannot be forgiven.
BTW: NO responsible person builds theological theories on a single translation of Scripture.
I was hungry/naked/thirsty/imprisoned, etc., and you did not clothe/feed/give me water/visit me.
It’s right there in the Gospel: Jesus says that people who do good works go to heaven, people who do not do good works go to hell.
I will believe Protestants believe the Bible is the Word of God when they stop ignoring the words of Jesus concerning the importance of good works.
31"But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne. 32"All the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; 33and He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left.
34"Then the King will say to those on His right, 'Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35âFor I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; 36naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.â 37"Then the righteous will answer Him, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? 38'And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? 39'When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?â 40âThe King will answer and say to them, 'Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.' Matthew 25:31-40 NASB
turns out the head of the foreign government called the Vatican is an American enemy
That means the Church has become our enemy
tough choice for congregants
Maybe he should worry about Christian being decapitated right across the Med from Italy than the US border.
It is obvious that you’re not a born again Christian. With that being said you can’t see the Glory of God nor the Holy Scriptures. I will pray for you Arthur that you will accept Jesus and receive the Holy Spirit that will guide you in the understanding of Scripture.
Well; THIS changes EVERYTHING!
Heh heh...
...Rome doesn't even need that!
