The super PAC backing Jeb Bush's Republican presidential campaign is planning to increase its ad buy in South Carolina ahead of the Feb. 20 primary.
Right to Rise USA is pouring another $1.7 million into the Palmetto State in the next 10 days on top of the more than $10 million the group has already spent in the state, according to people familiar with the plans. The money will be spent primarily on television, radio and digital advertising.
The cash infusion is coming as the PAC is postponing the start of ad buys in seven states holding contests in March.
The group previously announced plans to air ads in Virginia, Georgia, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Michigan and Idaho. Those ad campaigns will start closer to March 1, freeing up some money to be spent in South Carolina sooner, said the people familiar with the plans, who asked for anonymity to speak frankly about campaign strategy.

Why?
good to know there is still so much wealth in the country that millions can be squandered aimlessly.
Wasted money.
Throwing good money after bad.
Because up 'til now, in Jeb!'s life, there's always been more where that came from.
Mike Murphy bought Jeb a fourth place finish in NH.
Its not Jeb’s money and SC money isn’t on Jeb’s own dime.
BAM!
(Burn Another Million)
Why not just take the PAC money, go to VEGAS and put it all down on the roulette wheel? Sheejus,no way Jeb will get hired as POTUS.
Or find a charity, or buy every kid a new bike in Florida.
Some people just have no respect for money, now you give Donald Trump a no strings attached check for $100 million and watch what he does, he makes more money, he INVESTS it.
i would argue SC has become do or die
It is a banzai attack on Iwo Jima during the last hours
Its not going to buy Jeb a win in SC.
Spending a lot on advertising bears no correlation with actual votes attained.
People are sick of TV ads. In Colorado, Mittens carpet bombing of the state’s airwaves with TV ads in 2012 probably cost him the state.
That no longer works.
Sounds like it’s “Do or Die” for Jeb in SC.
I assume Bush doesn’t need to win for the donors to receive their payback. They either owe it for the past or the will be in the receiving line in the future.
Looks like Mike Murphy only has $2 million dollars approved to spend on advertising in all states for Super Tuesday after SC. Game almost over. Money is almost all gone. Donors are saying NO MAS.
Jeb is like one of the Walking Dead Zombies who keeps on coming back after you think he’s dead.
Bush would get a better return at a casino.
Jeb’s donors are not dummies. If you’re going to fund a loser, there are better ways to get a return on your investment.
And Jeb has zero, zilch, nada chance of being elected POTUS in 2016.
