Former Mexican President Felipe Calderón told CNBC Saturday that his country would not contribute “a single cent†to the building of Donald Trump’s proposed wall.
“Mexican people, we are not going to pay any single cent for such a stupid wall!†Calderón, who served as president from 2006 to 2012, said. “And it’s going to be completely useless.â€
“The first loser of such a policy would be the United States,†he added. “If this guy pretends that closing the borders to anywhere either for trade [or] for people is going to provide prosperity to the United State, he is completely crazy.â€
Trump appeared on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe†Tuesday and offered a response to Calderón’s comments.
“I heard the head of Mexico said ‘no way,’ and I said, ‘Now the wall just got taller,†the Republican candidate told “Morning Joe†hosts.

Yes it does. You took it wrong. I was being sarcastic and perhaps should have added a (sarc) tag. The Trump bashing & Cruz love fest is going to do his network in if he doesn’t stop. I’m amazed though of the people here that think Beck is a total loon and despise him but don’t care Cruz is hooked up with him and that Beck is a top endorser.
He has done some very good documentaries on terrorism so I won’t take that away from him.
Wall is needed but, more than that—it must be manned or Mexico will just use a big ladder and get over it. I believe it should be a wall and a chain of forts. It should be manned by a new Unit of the Military—The Border Guard. Like the coast guard but on land. Should have armored cars, planes (Warthogs?) helocopters, cannons, and gunboats. All fix to battle the Cartels. Other nations have such armed forces—we should as well.
My misunderstanding. I followed Beck for years and learned a lot but he went totally off the deep end years ago long before he endorsed Cruz in this election. Seems he changed about the time he started doing his man in the moon sruff.

You won’t get any argument from me on that. But when I have heard Trump nearly turn on a dime on positions and views I don’t trust him either. I do trust Cruz because he does what he says and willing to defend his position even if someone doesn’t agree.
But we have reaped a bitter harvest from all the GOP traitors who can lie so easily about what their believe and do differently. Makes us no want to believe anyone!
I think his response was perfect. I’m sure it’s not what the ex el presidenti was expecting!
And please, all the fainting over words? Small minds worry about small matters. ‘A’ word is a rather tiny matter in the big scheme of what we are facing.

Trump’s idea that Mexico will “pay” for a border wall to keep illegals from crossing from south to north is “bold”.
But, he has yet to disclose how the 8MM illegals CURRENTLY in the US will be sent back.
