The Kentucky senator, Rand Paul, who pulled out of the presidential race on Wednesday, had a slogan "Stand With Rand". But not enough people did. So he quit the field.
Jeb Bush's campaign is winning even less support (he trailed well behind Rand Paul in Iowa), but he is not quitting. So perhaps his campaign should now carry the moniker "Ebb with Jeb", because while he is still in the race, it is reaching the lamentable stage.
If this were a TV medical drama and not a political race, the scene that we would have played out is a bunch of concerned physicians, stethoscopes round their necks, wearing pristine white coats, looking concerned peering over a comatose, perfectly still body, while the monitors at the bedside barely flicker.
And eventually one would pipe up, his brow furrowed and exuding quiet concern: "I think we should pull the plug."

Can Jebbie propel fourth in NH into a national sweep? Can a leopard change his spots?
Yes, yes jeb can win 4th place everywhere he goes. Even when it becomes a two man race.
Jeb is done! Long time ago! All this money he has spent, he should have donated to UNICEF so as to be remembered for something worthwhile instead of being remembered as a frog catcher.
Will the media again act like 3rd or 4th place is the real winner again?
What a dilemma that would be. Because, if they do, they will have to quit having an orgasm over Kaisch’s second place finish. He beat Cruz by nearly 5%, you know!
He thinks he can win a little bit in each stae and make it up in volume.
With Rubio’s stumble in the debate, the media had already started revving back up the “the GOP needs Jeb” narrative even before last night. They’re going to keep dragging him towards the primary finish line, as the designated loser to run against “his good friend Hillary,” for as long as they can.
Bled with Jeb and beggen for Megyn.
How about...”Jeb Is Out In Feb”?
He just needs to remain presidential until the broken er, brokered conventional. Remember, the Party runs the convention. Bernbats should remember that, too.
He’s pining for the fjords... He’s a dead man walking .....
I’m not seeing how there could be a brokered convention at this point.
Until he drops out, he’s still a threat.
Have the money-grabbing selfish ways of the Bush Dynasty EVER been more clear? They live off public sector paychecks. They campaign only with other peoples money. They act like everyone exists for their benefit. Their own lifestyles, when it's their money, they seem to live life on the cheap.
Jeb has provided a valuable service. Now, we see the whole family through the lens the Jebster has put on them. 'bout time.
Cobweb with Jeb.
That depends on Trump taking most of the winner takes all states, and blocking all the other candidates from winning a majority in 8 states - further assuming the RNC holds to its rules, which it is not bound to do.
Otherwise, pool the delegates form ALL the other candidates against Trump, and put them in one vessel. The party hacks have their eye on Paul Ryan for that role. Romney could run again too.
I predict an uncomfortable GOP convention. They do not want Trump to look like a contender. He's not "like them."
Jeb is bringing out his special turtle.....
Its big, it flies, its from Japan.
He’s already written the last line of either his concession speech, or his drop-out-announcement speech....”Please clap...”.
