This is completely true.

Even the trump haters out there must admit that without Trump the campaign would be about who can better compromise with the Democrats, who will not be racist or sexist, who is most accepting of Muslims, who is the best at supporting Obama, who has the best plan for amnesty, who would open the borders most, who would be acceptable to China and who would be most supportive of sanctuary cities.

It would be a two man race between Jeb and Rubio about who can best create a message that is acceptable to moderates and independents. The debates would be about who can work best with moderates in Congress. The candidates would try to be the most politically correct.

Only Trump has raised the issues important to America. Only Trump has stood up for principles when called a hater, a racist and every other insult imaginable.

Trump has raised the issues that needed to be raised for the future of America. And the media and the Republican establishment hate him for it.

This is priceless. Only Trump (I mean this as a compliment) could turn vulgar slang back to a defense of the First Amendment. But, hey, it has to be done one way or another.

Jeb said today, “Donald Trump will not run our party”. I wish Trump would go third party. See how they do without him.

I may disagree with D. Trump on certain issues, but he has done more for free speech than any other candidate. If fact, he is the only one to have taken on PC and not backed down when big business started to threaten him.

And if The Donald took a dump on the White House lawn, his cheerleaders would be declaring that he’s singlehandedly revolutionizing lawn-care in the 21st century.

That is what initially appealed to me about Trump’s entry into the race, his open assault on political correctness. Name any issue/problem facing this country and I’d say that the number one impediment to solving that problem is political correctness. That is why Republicans with good intentions have failed is because they are beaten before they even get off the ground. Trump will succeed in problem solving because he beats back the PC crowd from the get-go.

Trump didn’t say it. A lady in the audience said it. And Trump publicly reprimanded her.

Apparently, she said it because someone alledgedly wimped out on the waterboarding question.

I have been waiting for someone to observe this.

I am reminded of a story someone told me about a guy who you could “dress up but not take out” who went to a wedding. I was told “And what are the three things you never talk about to strangers at a formal social gathering?”

I said “Well, I suppose sex, religion, and politics.” I was told “That’s right. And within five minutes ‘Joe’ had brought up all three.”

Donald Trump basically took the list of “death” statements which the conventional wisdom held would instantly kill the candidacy of any candidate who uttered them, and disqualify them forever, and rattled them off one by one. And guess what happened? His candidacy didn’t die. He wasn’t banished to political Siberia.

And the reason is because instead of apologizing, he hit back harder.

It long ago became clear that the PC left does not want apologies, they want destruction. Demanding the apology is the first step. And if you take that step, you are dead. Apologizing for PC sins is like confessing guilt at a Stalin show trial. The PC left senses your weakness, and they start coming after you like piranhas after a stranded cow.

Trump has avoided that trap and shown others that you can tell the PC left to stuff it, and survive to fight another day.

I agree - he has taken a sharp two-edged sword to Political Correctness, finally we hear about ‘Muslim terrorists,’ he talks about building a wall and illegal immigrants. I love him for that boldness.

You couldn’t be more wrong. Without Trump, Cruz would be running away with the nomination as the only true conservative in the race. Cruz is and would be campaigning on the Tea Party agenda of shrinking government, stopping NSA surveillance overreach, cutting taxes, stopping illegal immigration, defeating ISIS, calling out radical Islamic terrorism, repealing Obamacare, ending sanctuary cities, appointing originalist judges.

Cruz’ agenda is the true conservative Tea Party agenda. He’s been talking about all the key conservative issues since he ran for Senate and he’s kept all his promises to fight for what conservatives want.
