Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton just gave his critics all the ammunition they need.
Already under fire for how he conducts himself on the field, Newton went silent after his team's 24-10 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday in Super Bowl 50, sulking at the podium and essentially refusing to answer questions.

Losing is bad enough. This is how you make it worse.
He is messing up.

He didn’t really play much worse than Manning. It’s kind of sad that the NFL gave Manning more attention for a very mediocre performance than they did the actual MVP for a terrific performance.
To: WilliamIII
Pressers were trying to give him cover by asking softball questions sympathetically.

Aaawwww, poor baby.
Wasn’t he the one showing disrespect during the National Anthem, fidgeting and crossing his arms? Jerk.

Even if cancer is 100% curable 100% of the time, SOMETHING new, worse and uglier will descend upon our bodies and minds. BS. Get cured of a horrible cancer, and there's a good chance of living a full natural life. Happens all the time.

I thought he’s a great player but I have to admit him not going after that fumble tonight really looked bad.

Before Cam Newton left the field I saw him come over and shake hands with Peyton Manning.
I am a Denver/Manning fan. I think this shows Cam to be a good person. On or off the field.

The coach managed a few minutes with the network. You could tell he was disappointed, but he also used the Broncos’ loss a couple of years ago to inspire his team.
Meanwhile, Cammie Poo storms out and won’t talk to anyone. Does he think the league arranged for him to lose because he’s black, or something similar?

He did, and congratulated him on a well deserved win.

If you need “handlers” to get you to apologize you have serious problems. Unless he matures immensely he has likely seen the apex of his career.

Stormed isn’t the right word. How about “sulked throughout”. “Near unresponsive”. “Sullen”. “Pouted”. “Walked out during questions”.
