Bush loyalists concede the end may be in sight

Frustration inside Bush world has begun to spill into open view, with even the most outspoken family loyalists admitting it may soon be time to move on.

With the New Hampshire primary just days away and polls showing him still trailing Marco Rubio, there is an increasing sense that Jeb Bush is running out of time to demonstrate strength.

Many donors and influential supporters, bound by a deep and longstanding connection to the patrician clan, say they will remain with Bush no matter what. Yet others, deeply distressed by the rise of Donald Trump and Ted Cruz and eager for the Republican Party to rally around a mainstream candidate with viability, say they have come to terms with Bush's long odds and the possibility they will eventually get behind someone else.

The more establishment candidates the better. After all, he is in the sweet spot on abortion.

Pray America wakes

Bush has to be the most feared. Rubio is now unelectable in most people’s eyes or will be as his performance is exposed. Kasich has no future until March 15. Christie is tough but his positions on many issues and his episode with Obama will hurt him with many voters but he could gain strength over the next couple of weeks. Carson is finished.

Bush has the money to survive, will probably emerge as the GOPe candidate especially if he shows any life in New Hampshire. If Rubio falters
he will gain most of the Rubio voters in Florida. The media will play it as Bush the comeback kid.

If Cruz and Trump are both still in the race after March 15 then Bush may gain the nomination with the winner take all Primaries after March 1 coming into play.

Let him burn their money while crashing and burning.

Leaving him in, is like a football coach leaving his son in as a starting QB and safety, who has not scored a point for his team in 3+ quarters nor prevented any touchdowns. The other team is scoring every time they get the ball.

Glad you brought up Terri Schiavo. I have been waiting for someone to ask Bush to his face this question: You failed to protect one of the most vulnerable citizens of the state of Florida by permitting her neglectful, philandering husband to murder her publicly with the sanction of the activist courts in a most horrific way. Why should the citizens of this country believe that you will protect them from those who wish to kill them for religious/political ideology or just plain selfish, evil intentions?

One benefit to never dying your hair is that Barbara Bush doesn’t look much older at 90 than she did in 1988 when her husband was elected.
