No-one doubts that Cruz, a former national college debating champion, is exceptionally bright. Most exceptionally bright people cannot resist the temptation to wing it, simply because they can. Not so Cruz. He combines high intelligence with enormous discipline and capacity for work. Betsy McCaughey, a former Republican Lieutenant-Governor of New York, observes that self-discipline of this kind bespeaks humility: he is smart enough to know that even smart people can make big mistakes, and that hard work is the best insurance against missteps. Humility is not a personality trait one immediately associates with a politician who has opposed virtually all his colleagues in the Senate, but it is required to solicit and obtain the support of grassroots leaders, as Cruz did.

Trumpelstiltskin, meanwhile, has revealed a side of his character that voters hitherto have ignored, or even admired in a perverse way. He inherited wealth and ran a private company the way he wanted to, saying what he wanted and hiring and firing whom he pleased, without answering to partners, shareholders or the general public.
He is not a particularly good businessman; had he invested his inheritance in a stock-market index fund, his net worth would be double what it is today. But the psychic rewards of unrestricted narcissism more than compensated for the unperformance of his portfolio. He has had the opportunity to retain the infantile instincts of a child of wealth into his dotage. He cannot bear to lose; he cannot even bear to accept part of the responsibility for a loss.

You can tell Trump is very very careful how he spends money.
All the other candidates spend it as if they did not earn it like children would.
The other candidates live in fantasy with play money.
That’s how it looks to me.
It’s in Trump’s blood to spend money frugally. Sure, if he want’s something that costs money, fine, but he sure doesn’t blow it when he doesn’t have to.
If he can run a campaign on a shoe-string, he does it.
If he can get free publicity, he gives cause to obtain it.
He’s a crafty old fox.
Washington needed France to win. Trump don't need France.
Trump is greater than Washington.
What a GREAT comment! Any specific breed of goats? Or just generic goats?
How about donkeys? Could it blow goats AND donkeys? At the same time?
Trump really is brilliant in that regard and this is the sign of a self made man who earns his own money.
The other candidates are nothing more than kept poodles in a poodle palace known as the Federal government. They have no clue what it is to make money in the real world. They live in a world of very little consequences.
I agree.
You might be right. People are beginning to realize Trump huge sacrifice to make this country Great again before these Rino’s just give all away. Go Trump.
Trump is also greater than Moses.
Moses needed God’s help to Make Israel Great again! He wandered around for forty years.
Trump will NOT goof around like that, will he?
ha . I’m not sure about ol Moses boy but Trump is ROCKIN!! You will see panicked constructed propaganda after this but it is the same crap that told us horse face Fia RINO was the new challenger. Let’s Get it on with tire tools!! Breavhart!! FREEDOM!!
