Following Rick Santorumâs inability to name a single achievement of Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) 79% , the media sought to answer the question for themselves. Yet many reporters appear to have come up empty handed.
As The Washington Postâs Chris Cillizza writes, a âmajor part of the problem is that Rubio doesnât have all that many accomplishments in the Senate.â
âWhen Rubio is asked to name his single greatest achievement in the Senate, do you hear crickets?â tweeted the National Journalâs Ron Fournier.
Though Rick Santorum was unable to name the accomplishments of the man he just endorsed, there are indeed several accomplishments that are quite noteworthy. Below are a few of Sen. Rubioâs achievements that Rick Santorum could have identified on MSNBC this morning:
(1) The Rubio-Schumer Gang of Eight Bill
The Washington Examinerâs Byron York has described the 2013 Rubio-Schumer bill as Rubioâs âsignature accomplishment.â Although Santorum seemed reluctant to mention it, Rubioâs immigration bill is probably the first accomplishment that comes to mind when anyone thinks of Rubioâs very brief career in the U.S. Senate.
Rubioâs immigration bill would have tripled the issuances of green cards, doubled the dispensation of foreign worker visas, and granted citizenship â and, thereby, welfare access and voting privileges â to illegal immigrants.

Reminds me of a paperback book my father had in the 1990’s.
The book was titled, “The Accomplishments of Bill Clinton.”
My father tried to show the book to an elderly neighbor who stopped in front of our house while driving his SUV. The neighbor, now deceased, was a staunch conservative. The elderly gent yelled, “I don’t want to see it! I don’t want to see it!”
My father opened up the paperback book and the neighbor had a good laugh when he saw what was inside. All of the pages were blank.
What’s funny is that’s a real picture...
We are in agreement.
The subject of this article is Rubio’s accomplishments in the Senate.
I responded to a poster’s link to a list of 97 of Cruz’s accomplishments in the Senate. There were no accomplishments in that list. The Senate is all talk, no action.
That said, I would be proud to call Ted or Mike my senator.
It’s also in an article linked-to at Sipsey Street.
Rubio’s choice of friends need to be investigated.

3) Angel Barrios
This is the one he was arrested with and the one who he lived with in college.
The story is Angel Barrios ran a gay porn site that took advantage of young black homosexuals while he made lots of money. This story could be verified if the records of Angel Barrios suing the city of Miami are found.

Here’s the GayPorn site in 2007 being exposed in a News Channel segment. ( No connection mentioned to Barrios or Rubio, but they mention a guy named Philip Bleicher.

Infowars also has some stories, but I think the friendship with Angel should be the main focus, not whether Rubio is gay.
We crashed down so fast that may very well have the *grand* voting choice between a fag and a lesbian!
Ain’t this progress-IVE?
If the GOP thinks I am going to go into a voting booth in November and vote for Rubio, or Jeb or Kasich they are sadly mistaken.
Cruz isn’t even guaranteed to get me to show up. He’s captive to the same money machine as the rest, and his support of H1B expansion/reform though he has shifted since taking blowback on it, makes him less than ideal in my book as well.
I will not vote for anyone who thinks illegal immigrants deserve a “path to citizenship”... want citizenship? Pay fines and back taxes for your years of being here illegally, go back home and then put in an application to come here legally... no special treatment, no different than anyone else trying to come here.
If you will not, on the record state, that you oppose birthright citizenship, to anyone who is not a child of a citizen, you will not get my vote.
I will not vote for anyone who supports common core. I have watched this disaster first hand for decades now, it is an abject failure and ensures nothing more than the next generation will be dumbed down to barely above sharecropper/slave educational levels and gullibility.
I will vote for NO ONE.. and I mean NO ONE who argues for H1B increases, or argues it can be “reformed” I have watched this program be abused for decades... anyone not willing to say on the record they will abolish this program will not get my vote.
If that means I have no one to vote for on election day, so be it. I am tired of being an accomplice to people who are willingly selling this nation down the toilet for their puppet masters benefit. If they are going to do it anyway, there is no need for me to be complicit in their treason.
The pay a fine one always gets me. As if using taxpayer’s money that they have already gotten with all the freebies given to the illegals is going to make me feel better about pathway to citizenship.
That about sums it up!

Hatch is determined to oust Lee this year, and that phony bastard has sway. So I guarantee you that is the reason that he has not officially endorsed Ted.
eff No!
There is no perfect system for picking candidates. You trust who you think will do the best job. Unfortunately, all politicians are liars. They will promise anything to get elected. Once elected, they do what they want. You don’t hear from them until the next election.
We are Charley Brown trying to kick that football and they are Lucy van Pelt.

Interesting so Lee endorsing Ted in Utah is a negative. My goodness......that is scary.
Wow that’s some interesting stuff.

The GOP-E in Utah run a caucus. Six years ago, Lee ousted establishment hack and Hatch buddy Bob Bennett. So Hatch will do everything possible to destroy him. Old Orrin has become a swine, like most everyone else in Washington.
Sorry mishap Rodguy911 check out post 45.
