In a little-noticed interview earlier this year with Univision's Jorge Ramos, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)79% declared that, as President, he would keep Barack Obama's executive amnesty for DREAMers in place until it was permanently codified through legislation.
Rubio said, in part:
DACA...applies to young people that arrived in this country at a very young age before they were adults and I don't think we can immediately revoke that... I'm not calling for it to be revoked tomorrow, or this week, or right away.
"I think it will have to end at some point and I hope it will end because of some reform to the immigration laws," Rubio said in English.
So Rubio is pledging to carry Obama's policy: leaving the executive amnesty for DREAMers in place until Congress submits to the order by legislatively ratifying amnesty. After a legislatively ratified DREAM Act, illegal aliens would be able to vote in U.S. elections and bring their relatives to work and collect entitlements in the United States.
The similarity to President Obama's rhetoric is striking. President Obama told Congress: "if folks are serious about getting immigration reform done [they should be] passing a bill and getting it to my desk. And then the executive actions that I take go away." Similarly, Obama told George Stephanopoulos after being pressed on his executive amnesty: "Well, my response is pass a bill."
Most famously, Obama said: "To those members of Congress who question my authority to make our immigration system work better, or question the wisdom of me acting where Congress has failed, I have one answer: "
In the interview, Ramos asked Rubio something that Rubio has not been asked in any of the Presidential debates thus far: "Would a President Rubio revoke Deferred Action and executive action by President Barack Obama?"

If Rupert Murdoch and the other open-borders pimps get their way, their little puppet Rubio will be the next president, and if that’s the case kiss America goodbye!
***************************************************************************
Unless SOMETHING changes, Rubio is on his way to the nomination. The AMNESTY & OPEN BORDERS special interests are reveling.
If Trump and Cruz don’t stop their war, Rubio won’t need Rupert Murdoch to waltz into the Republican nomination. He’ll just have to step over the 2 dead bodies.
>> Let’s face it. It all boils down to Trump is the only one who might, and that’s just might, make a DENT in all this Crap!
That’s the thinking for those of us supporting his candidacy.
Just had one freeper tell me that Rubio is not establishment. LOL
I think we have some Rubio voters trolling on here stirring the pot between Cruz and Trump so they can get their establishment guy in.
Cruz and Trump has to go after Rubio and stop this insane squabbling.
“Trump...has no core values and changes positions every few years.”
I changed a position ever few years as I became increasingly conservative from 1973 until I began to hit the limits of conservatism around the mid-1990s. Those changes were actually reversions to morals I learned in childhood, although it didn’t seem so at the time. Trump didn’t grow up feral in a slum, you know. He was subject to good influences.
“I really hope enough Trump people will come over to Cruz to thwart this Rubio bid.”
If Trump is not elected, we are doomed. Doomed, doomed, doomed, to final, irreversible doomage, and I’ll tell you why: Both Senor Cruz and Senor Rubio will stab us in the back on border-crashing before you can say ‘$3 dollars an hour.’
“We do not want Rubio.”
No, nor the other Cuban.
He’s nothing more than a sweaty used car salesman.
Been saying the same thing. I think there are Rubio and establishment trolls on here stirring the pot to make Cruz and Trump voters argue so much that one side or the other will go to Rubio.
Cruz or Trump but no way Rubio. Say good bye for ever to the country.
A GOP congress might stand up to this crap if it were a Democrat saying this, but not a GOP president. I will not vote for Rubio under any circumstances.
“Rubio=Obama. This is why I can never vote for Cruse. Cruse is a curse.”
What does Cruz have to do with Rubio? Trump is the RINO, Establishment spoiler in this race. After all, ONLY Trump has voted democrat and held (and still does hold) many extreme liberal policies positions AND Rove defends Trump. Enough said!!
“IMO Theres a good chance Trump is a plant designed to disrupt the Conservative movement. Its working quite well.”
How does one disrupt a “movement” that is unable to produce a candidate? And don’t give me Cruz and Rubio, because both of them are Hispanic before they are American, and constantly display the politician’s greatest skill: the ability to rise above principle.
My instincts are telling me that there was a good deal of chicanery in those Iowa cauci.
Thought Cruz was canadian? jeez make up your mind
“Thought Cruz was canadian? jeez make up your mind”
This is the first time I’ve commented on the matter, and I am not talking about Senor Cruz’s legal nationality.
What is he in his own heart? What is he when he is saying his prayers before bed?
In my best judgment, he is in his heart of hearts hispanic first, second, and third. Anything else he is yields place of priority to that.
Senor Cruz will sell us out on border-crashing if he gets a chance.
Trump is so wrong. Ted Cruz isn’t a “nasty guy”....Marco Rubio is the nasty guy. A total fraud and liar.
He's had chances and everytime he's gone against Amnesty even though just about everyone else was for it.
That's why Ted Cruz is the "nasty guy", "no one likes" who won't "make deals".
“He’s had chances and every time he’s gone against Amnesty even though just about everyone else was for it.”
I didn’t say he was stupid enough to tip his hand.
He’s a finook?
