Donald Trump just accused Ted Cruz of stealing the Iowa caucuses over the Cruz campaign's admission that it helped spread a rumor that Ben Carson was dropping out of the race:
Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump Ted Cruz didn't win Iowa, he stole it. That is why all of the polls were so wrong and why he got far more votes than anticipated. Bad!

Update 2. Oh boy:
Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump Based on the fraud committed by Senator Ted Cruz during the Iowa Caucus, either a new election should take place or Cruz results nullified. 9:28 AM - 3 Feb 2016

ROFL...they don't get out of bed until around 2pm., so we are germ free until then.
Trump was classy on Tuesday night.
But it's now back to the annoying Trump I can't stand.
I heard that Trump is so mad that he’s suspending his campaign.
I’m no fan of Romney, but I certainly wish he would’ve raised hell after the election results came in. Had he done so, a lot of corruption and fraud would’ve been exposed and we very well may have had a different president.
I wish Trump would tone down his reaction to situations like this. He’s not helping himself. But on the other hand, Ted Cruz is building up quite a collection of ethically questionable incidents that require incredible twisted and tortured and highly implausible explanations
At best, the reaction of the Cruz campaign to the news that Carson was taking a break was grossly irresponsible and incompetent. At worst it was a deliberate attempt to spread information known to be false in an attempt to sway the caucus votes of Carson supporters.
Cruz comes off far worse in this incident because it provides more evidence of a campaign with no ethical standards and one that has a growing list of incidents that, taken together, begin to look very similar. And the explanations sound very similar and less and less believable.
For the record...I didn’t care if he signed a pledge because I wasn’t going to vote for a liberal regardless of what letter he put after his name this week.
And also for the record...with your response, I would NOT put you in the category of “braying trumpeter”...just merely a trumpeter (which is NOT derogatory, nor meant to be so)
I saw the CNN report live on Monday night and the way the spun it, it did seem that Carson was throwing in the towel. Although, an unfortunate turn of events, I partially blame Carson for allowing his itinerary get out. His inexperience hurt him here.
I agree. The more people who hear this, the more media attention it gets, the better. I believe any reasonable person would conclude that many votes where stolen from Carson and that should not be pushed under the rug.
Trump has many more followers on Twitter than Carson and the media picks up everything he says. Now instead of being dismissed or ignored with just Carson complaining, it’s Trump also.
I have always said that Trump is “x” number of meltdowns from the final meltdown. This could be it!
You should get that checked out. That's a lot of sneezing.
Trump needs to realize (and I am sure he does by now) that he is facing heavy hitters in the intelligence community. Cruz campaign chairman co founded Chertoff Group who has in its midst, among others, former Director of NSA and CIA. Chertoff Group is a who’s who of intelligence.
Oh, man. Pot, kettle.
Is it immoral for Trump to tweet/lie that Vander Plaats got a 100K speaking fee, when in fact, TRUMP got the 100K?
Is it immoral for Trump to tweet/lie that he was begged for a job by Cheri Jacobus, when she has written proof that she turned him down, partly because his team was offering corrupt PAC coordination?
And why isn't Trump blaming CNN?
And why isn't Trump blaming Rubio?
Minister from Iowa just called @IngrahamAngle & said “a Cruz campaign rep stood up at beginning of the caucus to say Carson dropping out”
What behavior? Asking for the delegates of an opponent who, according to a news story, may be leaving the campaign?
It’s not immoral if Cruz does it.
Good grief, Trump will say just about anything to win.
CNN reported it.
Multiple places shared it. It looked like he was dropping out.
What serious presidential candidate takes a break to fly home and get a change of clothes.
Carson shot himself in the foot with this.. Making an announcement like this the day of the caucus, and then CNN reporting on it was what caused he problem.
It was unfortunate, I like Carson, but Carson had no chance anyway. I don't think this was malice on Cruz's part. Cruz apologized because it was unfortunate and he feels bad that his team ran with the CNN story.
On the other hand Rubio did not apologize, and that is not being reported.

I remain hopeful that we are not so far into Idiocracy as to preclude people from actually thinking things all the way through.
Bravo Trump! ENCORE!!
