CRUZ 28 Trump. 24 Rubio. 23
If Trump had won, people would be talking about how he has a rocket up his area and nobody can catch him.
If Rubio had won, he would be the new Candidate We Must All Hold Our Nose And Get Behind.
Since Cruz won, Iowa is no big deal.
As I’ve said previously and I firmly believe it, Cruz cannot win nationwide.
However, Trump/Rubio will.
Who were those two elderly gentlemen running for the Democratic nomination?
Rubio is way too high for my liking, even in a blue state. They need to pound this guy on amnesty and his government money credit card fiasco and hard.
Trump was up by 20 in Iowa a month ago.
Trump was up by 15 in Iowa last week.
Trump was up by 9 in Iowa until yesterday evening.
But Trump wound up losing Iowa by three. Underperforming by 12 points.
So tell me again how Trump is up by 11 in New Hampshire with a week to go...
Donald Trump is all smoked glass and mirrors.
Yup. I'm for Cruz, but will rally behind whomever is the clear winner after SC all long as it's Cruz or Trump.
I will say one nice thing about Donald Trump.
If not for Donald Trump, Jeb! would be at 20% and leading a crowded field, and we would be subjected to a non-stop drumbeat of how we should all get behind the “inevitable” nominee.
Donald Trump has made that impossible. There is no way that they are going to tell us that we all have to get behind Donald Trump as the inevitable nominee.
So for saving us from Jeb!, we all owe Donald Trump a tremendous debt of gratitude. If that is the only thing he achieves in this race, he will have achieved quite a lot.
Donald Trump is NOT all smoke and mirrors.
Look how many attended his rallies.
Look how many new voters came last night.
Look how the polls right before the vote showed his massive lead.
What this tells me is the Globalist Power Elite digitally altered the results. VERY EASY FOR THEM TO DO when voting is digital. They’ve done it who knows how many times...I remember as far back as Patrick Buchanan winning in one mid-western state one Presidential election. All of a sudden the machines went “down” for a couple of hours, and when they came back up, he was magically behind by a large margin.
No, Mr. Trump won last night. He was simply “JFK”’d electronically. Much cleaner that way, and no one the wiser.
They will knock Cruz out very easily.
No, Iowans weren’t stupid. They were just robbed.
That’s how I see view what happened last night.
Mr. Trump worked very hard and loves his country. But, his country is under siege. The ballot box no longer represents the remedy.
I thought I noticed you on last night's episode of the XFiles.
I think last night's concession speech is the first one by the Donald where I didn't hear the word "poll". Priceless.
Many leading economists describe similar views. Check out Rob Kirby’s latest interviews, Martin Armstrong, Dr. James Willie, Bill Holter, and others.
While you all are snipping back and forth between Trump and Cruz, note that not one person on this board has said their man Rubio won. This guy finished third, or second, yet does not have but few supporters on FR. IOW, he is not conservative and more than likely the GOPe candidate. With Trump and Cruz splitting the conservative vote up between them, Rubio is going to walk into the nomination...the amnesty express will be on the main line and if elected it is back to business as usual for the uniparty.
Not sure if Rubio can walk into it. If this vote split stays consistent, seems like we’re headed to a brokered convention. Is Rubio ever going to be getting 50% of the vote while Trump and Cruz are both in? Doesn’t seem likely.
The question is, which of the two of them will cut a deal at the convention to outflank the other. Unfortunately, I’d bet a fortune that Trump and Rubio will cut the deal and leave Cruz hang out to dry. The establishment will push hard for it and both of them have deep ties to the establishment, while Cruz is their #1 enemy. So a Trump/Rubio ticket is now the most likely outcome as of today.
That's why it was so short.
CRRUUZING to Victory
Remember in 1992, Bill Clinton lost Iowa (by a lot!), came in second in New Hampshire and crowned himself the Comeback Kid!
And the press ate it up!
Now let's see what he does with the rest of the republic's 49 states
The reason I suspect Cruz is the real thing, and Trump is faux, is that everybody believes Trump isn’t that competent, BUT he most likely WILL hire the best people to place in the right positions.
Campaign-wise, the opposite appears to have prevailed.
If Cruz is so naive and lacks professional saavy, why did he prevail in Iowa?
All of the other candidates are spending Somebody Else’s Money for their campaigns. Donald Trump is spending his own money. So I suspect he went cheap on things like GOTV.
Trump has been running his whole campaign on the cheap, mostly through free media. He says outrageous things, because that is what he has to do to get on the television for free. But that sort of thing can only get you so far.
It is an impressive accomplishment to get 24% in Iowa without spending any money, or having any ground game. But I think this is as far as it goes. You look under the hood, and there is no engine there. The car without an engine can only run downhill.
Donald Trump is all smoked glass and mirrors.
