The appeal of Mr. Trump, in its face, is clear. He rips away the scourge of political correctness, a virus that is destroying the country from within. Weâre all rightly concerned about terrorism, but thatâs a cancer that will only finish off this nation.
The tipping point for me was last weekâs absurd drama surrounding new attacks by the Trump gang on Fox Newsâ Megyn Kelly. Sheâs âunfairâ weâre told, and shouldnât moderate the debate. This stemmed from the first debate when Ms. Kelly asked Mr. Trump to explain his attitude toward women many consider misogynistic.
Yes, you can be thin-skinned, hate Fox News, have supporters who work to punish dissenters, and be president.
In fact, weâve had that in the White House for seven years now. I thought conservatives wanted to change things.
My initial hesitancy regarding Mr. Trump was his liberalism. Sure, he says heâs a conservative, but so does Mitch McConnell and John Boehner and Jeb Bush and and Paul Ryan.
But many will learn in the aftermath of a Trump election what Pyrrhic victory means.
Heâll secure the border, implement single-payer (hey, heâs a deal maker), and grow the government into a monster bigger than you can imagine. Itâll be âYUGE!â His foreign policy? Heâs a deal maker.

This is ridiculous. Not the point at all but if it rings your bells go with it.
If they actually used his words, not words selected to slant the story, then he’d have no trouble with it. The media lies like a rug; we all know it. How come only with Trump you decide they are telling the truth?
They are damaging our country with their slanted coverage, not the Trump coverage but all the coverage, massaging the stories and hiding those they don’t want heard.
They deserve to be called out and Trump has done just that. They know when they lie about him there will be consequences.
This “sounds” like heading towards an all-nanny state, but it doesn’t HAVE to. It depends on what gets successfully presented to Donald.
I’d like to see the church charity paradigm come back to the point that donations could be tax CREDITS (up to tax due for the period) not just deductions. They surely can’t use the money any MORE unwisely than a government medical nanny would.
Safety nets don’t have to be Caesar all the time. Just sayin’.
I agree. The closer to the community level the better. Perhaps a State coordination that refers people to local saftey nets in their area.
Heaven forbid anyone stand up for themselves! Conservatives have professed for years that they wish GWB had and that McCain and Romney didn’t defend themselves but criticize Trump for doing so. Confusing to say the least.
I want.. the cry of a certain age bracket.
no offence meant but there must be a better way of saying the goals you have.
Wow, that site is a mess. It shut down my Internet Explorer a couple of times.
That's exactly the problem.
The way this is phrased, that's dangerous.
