Trump vows to pay legal fees of supporters who 'knock the crap' out of tomato-throwers.
Donald Trump got word from his security detail in Cedar Rapids on Monday that there could be someone in the audience with tomatoes -- so Trump reportedly decided to go ahead and take precautions.
"If you see somebody getting ready to throw a tomato, knock the crap out of them," Trump urged his supporters. Were anyone to feel concern about being prosecuted for assault in such a scenario, Trump reassured that, "I promise you, I will pay for the legal fees."

To knock them down, you have to catch up with them.
Get it? Catch up? :-)
While that is true, it goes further than that. It's the old mentality of "screw you if you don't play by my rules, I'm taking my ball and going home"..........
As Rush would say, he must be a member of the "New Castrotti".
Exactly. It would only get worse. The dirty Liberals would throw feces, urine, aids infected blood if they aren’t stopped now.
Not hardly, Trump is a man’s man.
Do you think comparing a government agent seeing a gun raised to a political rally opponent holding a tomato can be compared logically? Really?
Point is, the secret service agent is acting lawfully....the assaulter of the tomato-holder would not be. Hence Trump's offer to pay for the legal fees of anyone that assaults on his behalf.
You are wrong. See post #147.
And does the Iowa Code define an ‘imminent use of unlawful force’ to consist of throwing a tomato?
Iowa Code
704.3 Defense of self or another. A person is justified in the use of reasonable force when the person reasonably believes that such force is necessary to defend oneself or another from any imminent use of unlawful force.
Why then would Trump offer to pay for legal fees (bail) for anyone that did his bidding re: assaulting the tomato throwers?
That’s what I condiment.
I can’t help that I’m outstanding in my field.
Do you think Trump is going to go all Berzelius Windrip and form his own "Minute Men" to thump heads?
I was kind of wondering if anyone here on FR was going to go there -- salon.com already has gone there.
When there are two (or more) candidates who appear acceptable, isn't it smart to see and hear both, rather than depend on the OPINIONS of others, who may have an agenda? If Cruz holds a rally near me, I'm there; same with Trump. We're likely to get one of them, and I'm for Cruz in the primary at this point. But any non-RAT in the general.
I might even attend a Bernie function, to take photos and try to identify which of my neighbors are likely to be a danger to my well-being, ratting me out to the regime when TSHTF.
