Question: If most people hate the candidate, how can he be elected?
I would have given McCain and Romney an unfavorable rating, but I still voted for both of them. My unfavorable rating for Obama was even higher.
When I saw the headline my first thought was 2008
So what would be new?
Another epic FAIL!
I wonder if the hand wringer author is still wetting his bed at night.
Trump appears to me to be the only candidate that most of the country could get behind. Republicans and traditional Democrats (not progressive socialists.)
Unless you count the political establishment as over half the country, this article makes little sense.
I thought we already had one!
Whether a person is likable or not is a separate issue from whether or not he can do what one wants.
Well it really doesn’t matter what “most people” think about Donald Trump because we know that you hate him. We get that. Are you going to be OK tonight, or should we organize some kind of help line thread?
No. We already have one of those.
Didn’t the Liberal wackos already do that? He’s still in office.
People like this need to realize that just because they hate Trump...it does not mean that the majority of Americans hate him.
To the contrary, most people I know like his direct speech and the way he is dancing circles around the MSM and the establishment.
Much the same can be said for Cruz, with one major exception...and it is major.
Trump has a much higher chance of a broader coalition. I have seen interviews of Latinos, Blacks, and democrats who voted for Obama but who now feel betrayed are willing to vote for Trump.
Trump has the capability of putting states like New York in play...which we have not really seen since the 1980 and 1984 Regan victories.
Hate; an interesting choice of words. I can’t think of anyone I hate, even Muslim terrorists and murderers, BLM thugs or the Hilda-beast or Billy-Boy Ayers. Mind you, I would not mourn their passing, some I’d be inclined to celebrate. Some people just NEED killing.
I do hate WHAT THEY DO, though.
Trump will have a chance to show people how he will do in public office. So there is a lot of upside.
Swillery has already shown that side of her; and there is zzzzzzero for us to learn about her that is new.
....Yet look at the rallies that the Donald has been holding, bringing in crowds of people. The other GOP candidates, although Sen. Cruz has gotten better in attracting greater interest, does not attract the crowds that the Donald attracts.
I don’t know this for a fact but I suspect it’s possible General Patton may have been a true bastard to be around. He was vulgar and bullish and pushy. He had to repeat his first year at West Point. Patton believed in reincarnation.
GEE - the ‘perfects’ here would have hated him.
But he made a hell of a General and I’m glad he was on our team.
That’s how I feel about Trump. He is being elected to do a JOB. Not be warm, fuzzy or make friends.
“but she’s not the living incarnation of evil or anything.”
Huh? Like HELL, she’s not! She gets her marching orders from Lucifer!
I hate going to the doctor and the dentist but they have kept me well.
