Bush name isn't magic in Texas this time around

When it unfolded five months ago, Jeb Bush's presidential operation in Texas displayed the hallmarks of a political behemoth, boasting money, prestigious endorsements and, most notably, ties to a famous political dynasty.

Yet, just as he has nationwide, the Midland-born son and brother of two presidents from Texas has struggled to gain traction in his native state, watching from back in the pack as Ted Cruz and Donald Trump jockey for the lead among Texas Republicans.

In a straw poll of Tarrant County Republicans last weekend, the former Florida governor finished sixth with 3.10 percent. Cruz placed first with nearly 40 percent followed by Trump with 27 percent. Marco Rubio, Rand Paul and Ben Carson, all in single digits, polled ahead of Bush.

A KTVT/Dixie Strategies Texas poll last week put Cruz in the lead with a 5-point edge over Trump and placed Bush in fourth with 8 percent behind Rubio, who was third.

P. Bush was elected by GOPe blue haired country clubbers ladies and their Low-T cuckold husbands who blindly worship the Bush family. The same type that really believe John Cornyn is a conservative.

Let’s face the truth here. Cruz has very deep ties to the Bush family. The 2000 recount. Heidi worked for W in the CFR. The Cruz’s met at the recount and started their relationship.

So ask yourself this: How does an attorney with little real world experience become a Senator from Texas - a state that the Bush family owns on the Republican side? Dewhurst never stood a chance once the Bushes gave their approval.

Example: In Sugarland TX there is a country club owned by the Bush family. Every time Ted has gone to Houston asking for campaign money, he goes to that country club. Both during his Senate and presidential bids. You think there is no connection there?

The ties are deep to the Bush family, just like they are to investment banking and hedge fund managers like Mercer. Not just Goldman.

“Every picture I see of P makes him look like he has crazy eyes”

There is a reason. He is a crazy dude, and scandal or even tragedy waiting to happen.

Every member of Jeb!s family has a criminal record. I don’t judge the daughter harshly for seeking refuge in drugs.

Since “read my lips” lied I have disliked the Bush clan. Plus there was some Bush involved in a savings and loan scandal way back there.
