'Unless I win, I would consider this a big, fat, beautiful--and, by the way, a very expensive--waste of time'

Heading into the final days before Iowa's caucuses, Republican front-runner Donald Trump warned supporters that his months of headline-grabbing antics could be for naught if they do not show up Monday night.

"You have to get out there and caucus, or we've all wasted our time," Trump said on a tarmac, speaking to supporters who stood in a cold airplane hangar for hours to see the former Apprentice star. It was a rare suggestion from the billionaire that he might not be invincible and might well not become the GOP nominee....

As Trump pints out (as if we didn’t know), the press is full of nasty people who lie, all the time.

-- She never asked who I was voting for so I assume to her that is two more in the Trump column, even though I am going to vote for Ted Cruz. --

Maybe she was more concerned about participation for participation's sake. Sometimes the "hard sell" becomes a turn off. Whenever I've done call bank and driving to the polls, I never expressed a thought about who to vote for - just go vote, vote your conscience.

It’s a pity that your graciousness is not the prevailing sentiment expressed.

What a great statement to kids....You won’t damage it but your parents would. I bet they were soooo careful, their parents would be really, really proud.

When Cruz wins Iowa...most Carson, Huckabee, and Santorum fans and many Jeb and Rubio supporters will get on the Cruz bandwagon.

totally bs headline by Time. article was about Trump exhorting the troops to get out to vote or he would lose.

well duuuuuhhhh: if you don’t vote I will lose.

Lead paragraph:

“You have to get out there and caucus, or we’ve all wasted our time,” Trump said on a tarmac, speaking to supporters who stood in a cold airplane hangar for hours to see the former Apprentice star. It was a rare suggestion from the billionaire that he might not be invincible and might well not become the GOP nominee.:

So Time chooses to consider Trump’s get out the vote effort “a rare suggestion ... that he might not be invincible”

Geez, what a bunch of maroons at Time. that’s why it’s only about 6 pages thick now and the only copies they print wind up as freebies in dentists’ offices.

It will be okay. God controls the results. We trust him. We will be united in November.

You know that I’m not the reporter who wrote the article, right?

Of course... but I generally talk back to the authors of articles I see here... even though I assume they don't ever see what I post. It's like talking to the TV I guess.

That's not true. Both Bush 43 (2000) and Barack Obama (2008) went on to win their parties' nomination and the presidency. Who is doing his research?

His mic guy.

I love it when the leftist press has to deal with trump. They rabidly despise him but would support his candidacy if they thought Hillary could beat him, but there’ s the chance that he could win. They are beside themselves.

I think DMR endorsed Rubio? on the R side. They’re leftists. But their midterms poll was the only one correct by 5-6pts.
