Did you go through the actual install or did it install on-the-fly?
For example, if you told the page to download to your hard drive, you then have to find it and double-click it to start the install.
The reason that it is ‘disabled’ may be because it is out of date.
On the other hand, if you told it to install while at the page then maybe.....let me know, please?
Hope to have good news in the morning,
Nighty-night.
Good night, PRO. Hope everything works fine and dandy in the morning. Got ALL appendages crossed for luck. :-)
Then I went to "manage add-ons" and enabled it.
Now I'm going to restart my computer, go to sleep, LOL, and see what happens in the AM.
Nite, PRO! Sleep well....happy computering! :)
Welcome, everyone to this weekend's edition of the Canteen Music Dedication. The music in this thread is provided for the enjoyment of the troops and their families.
Please support the artists in this thread. Buy their music and attend their concerts when they come to your area.
We'd like to thank the Canteen DJ's for all their hard work in posting the music to today's thread.
((HUGS))Good morning, Kathy. How’s it going?
With all the question marks, this thread looks questionable.
Nope, flash player doesn’t work. Thanks anyway.
I do not understand why you go into “Manage Add-Ons”. That is not necessary. Please, stay out of “Manage Add-Ons”!?
Please uninstall any version of “Adobe Flash Player” that exist on your system. “Flash Drive” is NOT “Adobe Flash Player”. They are two, separate entities.
Reboot.
Please return to the Adobe link which I sent to you yesterday. Click the “Install” button. You may get a prompt on the bottom of the browser window asking if you want to install. Click to install.
You may get another prompt from Windows asking if you are sure that you want the program to install. Click, “Yes”.
Let the install complete. After the install completes, reboot the computer.
It is not necessary to even think about, “Manage Add-Ons”.
In one of your posts to me you said that you uninstalled, “Flash Drive”. I repeat, “Flash Drive” is NOT “Adobe Flash Player”!
Please do not give up. Problems are solvable! ;-)
OK, I’ll do this is a bit, thanks for your patience for us tech morons :-)

I have an Adobe shock wave player 12.2. Should I uninstall it?
Please go into ‘Control Panel’ and find the “Flash Player ( 32-bit)” icon and double-click it. On the ‘Updates’ tab should give to you the actual version that is installed.
My version says, “20.0.0.286”. Please let me know what yours says. ;-)
