Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)'s communications director, Rick Tyler, joined Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon Friday on Breitbart News Daily.
They recapped last night's national debate, discussing how Fox News tried to paint Cruz as pro-amnesty, and also highlighted that Cruz is challenging Trump to a one-on-one final debate Saturday night in Iowa, before Monday's caucuses.
Fox News surprised many viewers-and angered many conservatives-by running a campaign-style video going after Cruz on immigration, suggesting that in 2013 both Cruz and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) equally supported amnesty for illegal aliens.

It’s my understanding that both parties have already signed the MOU. I wouldn’t encourage either one of them to go off on this without attorneys signing off on it. There’s too much at stake.
Could you ever imagine any media outlet showing a montage of Hillary’s greatest hits, everything from cattle futures to billing records to sniper fire to home servers and then asking a debate question about it? Not in a million years. Fox and the rest of the MSM can do it to the Republicans anytime. But somehow Hillary is exempt. I guess they’re protecting her from the vast right wing conspiracy.
At one time the MSM was made up of biased liberals.
But now it’s made up of Democrat regime operatives.
Truth, Justice, and the American Way.
I think it’s time to get rid of the silly debates and go to round-table type discussions instead. Someone who does well at a debate won’t necessarily make a good president, and vice versa. The whole electoral process is being manipulated now by the networks for their own ends. Who are they to decide guys like Santorum don’t have a chance this early on? Let the process work through the people, not FOX News or CNN. All the candidates should just refuse to cooperate at this point. There is enough alternative media out there now that they don’t have to play this stupid, manipulative game.
That was Rubio that was booed over criticism of Cruz.
No, but this attempt by Cruz to debate again is hilarious.
Desperation 101. Cruz hasn’t won a debate yet.
FOX is in the tank for the uniparty.
I’ve never understood the fascination with debates anyway, other than the entertainment value.
The booing happened after Cruz’s complaint to Wallace, but it was not clear whether they were booing Cruz or Wallaces provocative questions. Seeing as though it was a GOPe crowd probably some of both.
At the end of the day, the only one who lost big was Fox News...
They were booing the Fox stooges
What video?
Fox News is an arm of the Trump campaign is the most absurd statement posted here. Oviously you haven’t been paying attention to what has been going on
That's what people say, but it isn't true. Carson and Cruz didn't attack him first..
It seems like Trump is the king of all talk, no action.
After Cruz’s Iowa loss...he will be an after thought.
You read my comment incorrectly if you think that I said that.
Cruz is my reluctant first choice, but I think you may be correct about his political prospects.
The two major political betting websites indicate that Cruz will not do well in the GOP primaries.
And in the general election, bettors at Fairbet.com think Cruz is tied with Socialist Bernie Sanders!
