BTW it's not "slander" when people accept corrections.

Great logic by you and your mentor.

By your reasoning: It's not larceny if you accept corrections. It's not homicide if you accept corrections, etc.

He’s just incoherent when he speaks, jumps all over the place. Watch any video of him where he talks for more than 60 seconds.

As for his positions, exponential promises and platitudes. What’s his position on healthcare?

By my reasoning, there is a difference between taking something by mistake and returning it, very taking something deliberately and not returning it.

By my reasoning, you don’t come across as careful about what you say. I can see why you like Donald Trump.

Trump’s position on health care for America is free market with a safety net. He has praised National Health care in 2000 saying it has worked in Scotland etc but that it wouldn’t work here. Having done an externship in Scotland I don’t agree but since he is not for single payer in America its neither here nor there.

Trump is in favor of multiple insurers bidding on policies across state lines. He’s for health savings accounts. In 2000 he said we must have universal healthcare. But if you read his statements from that time he doesn’t mean what we now mean by those words. He is referring people having no saftey net. For many years we had charity care. Hillary destroyed that system and now we have Medicaid. Trump believed and still believes that there must be healthcare opinions for the indigent.

What Trump said was after a judge rules he’s an American citizen eligible to run for president, he’ll debate him, if the last two candidates standing are Cruz and him. That’s never going to happen. Cruz is scared to get a judge involved and after last night’s debate Cruz is finished. He’s currently running 5th in NH. Even if pulls out Iowa, he’s not winning NH and he’s not winning SC, where Trump leads him by double digits.

Slander is not a mistake.
Larceny is not a mistake.
Homicide is not a mistake.

You can’t take it back, unless you reason like a child. ...speaking of your idol, Glenn Beck...

The "R" under "voter type" stands for "Registered," not for Republican. The "R" under "Ballot Type" stands for "Regular," not for Republican. And, according to a New York City elections division clerk, there is no record that Trump ever voted in a Republican primary election in New York City. Trump only voted in general elections, and there is no record for whom he voted in those general elections.

OK, thanks for the context. Given that though, I don't agree that there is anything false or cowardly about it. Trump made his point and won yet another round.

As it stands now, Trump doesn't need to do any more debates until he gets to the general election. He gets his message out through his rallies and interviews, and still has the option of buying media time. The debates no longer provide an advantage for him, so why do them. They aren't mandatory.

Last September he said he was for universal healthcare, government would pay for it.

He’s for both, private and government-mandated, mutually exclusive. Whatever you want to hear in part, incoherent in the whole.

He just can’t present or defend his views and policies coherently in a mature ordered structure. When confronted or challenged he resorts to making faces and insults.

Prove me wrong. Show five minutes of Trump on a single topic that doesn’t illustrate the above.

“The little hat issue has been debunked time and time again.”

At this point, it says more about the alleged Cruz supporter who posts it than anything else.

I still think Pee Wee Priebus or others like him are behind some of the most obnoxious Cruz puffing.

> I’ve never seen a group derive such glee from trashing a solid conservative.

I hope you are mistaken. I don’t see glee, except from a few obnoxious types. Look, if Trump didn’t raise the issue, you know the Democrats would. If Cruz can’t even get a majority of Republicans to see it his way, how the heck could he ever hope to win a general election? I’m not saying Trump’s tactic is legitimate, but unfortunately for Cruz, this really is the kind of issue that needed to be resolved prior to the campaign. I love Cruz, but I have to worry about what some Obama appointed judge will rule on this issue. It is not a non-issue.

Except if it’s the Donald killing somebody on 5th avenue, homicide is not a mistake.

There, I fixed it for you.

The Donald killed someone? That’s news to me. You are confusing humor with reality.

But, then again, that’s how your mentor, Glenn, makes his living.

I provided a reference to my listing of Trump’s position on Healthcare. Could you perhaps provide the same?

McCain was ineligible. But because Obama was certain to defeat old, fat, short, maverick McCain, the democrats had no reason to file a suit of ineligibility.

You know what? It all kind of fits together...almost like it was planned that way, right?...hmmmm....

Naaah, lol...that could never happen, where's my brain? That would be some first-degree conspiracy crazy, whack-job thinking right there. Never mind...just forget I said that...

It would seem that the legislature has clarified this issue a few times already, and we have precedent with English law that children of citizens born abroad are citizens at birth (Natural Born, God-made) as opposed to naturalized (by the state or man). If there is even a shred of evidence that Ted Cruz was ever naturalized, then you have something. Otherwise, its a bunch of election deception. His place of birth has never been hidden or in question.

I think we put too much already in the hands of unelected judges, especially when it is WE THE PEOPLE through our representatives who make law. The judiciary has grown far more powerful than the Framers ever intended. I would rather not give them any chance to legislate/pontificate from the bench, or any more power than what the Constitution allows. Until some of the nutcases sitting on the bench now are retired, I would prefer to keep everything out of their hands.

The Birther issue with Obama went way beyond the place of birth. His whole nativity story was an ever changing narrative designed to confuse the issue and discredit anyone searching for the truth. We may never know the real story.

You are saying NBC is clearly defined? I’m saying it’s not. Let Trump sue Cruz over this issue and see what happens. He needs to put his money where his mouth is. Same for the Democratic party liberals. In the meantime, Cruz is eligible as far as I’m concerned.

You are welcome to criticize Cruz based on the various opinions of others - pro or con. Dr. Tribe has his opinion and others have theirs. And they do not all agree. So it is what it is until someone of standing can sue and prove otherwise.

Only trouble with Trump is his opinion changed for whatever reason. He first said he thought Cruz was a NBC, now he doesn’t think he is. I don’t think he’s really worried about the GOP or the Democrats, he’s worried about a challenge to his nomination from Cruz and other conservative supporters who disagree with him and want to focus on the real issues that face this nation.

Cruz has not derailed the Republican ticket in any way by asserting his right to due process (eligible until proven otherwise) under the law. But if Trump’s campaign strategy is to induce doubt and persuade you in a court of public opinion that Cruz in ineligible, then he has accomplished his goal.

Everyone loves Trump. I believe Trump could pick Putin as his running mate and the media polls would go over the top and out of sight despite Putin’s NBC status. But that’s show business.

I’m watching to see what Trump does on this, to see if he really wants an answer or is just using this for political gain.

If Cruz’s eligibility gets brought up at the IA caucus maybe Cruz would have standing to sue somebody, but otherwise the only person who can get this into the federal courts is Trump himself. Whether he will do that or not will tell me a lot about his motivation for bringing it up.
