Cruz did not show well last night - and he’s been one of my top choices since the beginning. His “humor” was a bust and his positions malleable.

I started out as an enthusiastic Cruz supporter. Then his H1B visa stance and his support of TPA had me wondering. Then I began to see that “something” about the way he talks at people. You might be starting that road, now that you’ve seen that his “humor” isn’t really funny and it isn’t satire.

Bouncing off of Trump shows Ted's true colors. Totally unnecessary...and in fact....tasty....considering what Trump was doing down the road.

And we needed another debate like we need...whatever...

It was all about Fox and their money tree.

Cruz is brilliant, but in a very lawyerly way. While that makes him an exceptional adversary in formal settings (collegiate debate, courtrooms) his major problem is that politics is not a formal forum where "knowing the rulebook" is key to victory. As a result he appears stiff and anything but at ease in dealing with crowds.

It's one of the reasons why many have hoped for a Trump/Cruz ticket. Spending 8 years as Trump's "apprentice" would do wonders for his personality and ability to relate to people, thereby improving his ability to advance his vision effectively.

Can they kiss and make up after the last month of acrimony? Perhaps, but the odds of that happening seem a lot smaller than last year.
