Are you saying that Trump doesn’t have a direct line to Jesus, then? What is it? Is Trump a Christian, or not a Christian?
His bible quotes demonstrate that he has spent no time in church, or at least he never paid attention. I don’t hold this against him. I still much prefer Cruz

There is not enough evidence to convict Trump of being a christian.
Trump is a Christian, he has done a lot of good things and is a good person. Just ask him. This type of stuff from Trump drives me nuts. Also drives me crazy when his boys tout that he is an excellent Dad and has built an amazing business (in the same sentence).
