With GOP candidate Donald Trump bowing out of tonight's Fox News debate, he's been the talk of the town. I know what you're thinking. When hasn't he been, right?

I know how you feel. You either love him or you hate him.

Well a photo is making its way around the Internet that might actually boost him just a touch with those who aren't quite ready to jump on the Trump train.

It's a picture of his personal finances and shows how much money he's given to charities over the last five years.

It's a pretty substantial amount.

Charity donations, especially of land(or art) can be an excellent way to reduce taxes. Trump bought one piece of land for 3 million and then donated it to New York State estimating its value to be 100 million.

Indeed, I’ve read that he takes credit for grants resulting from contributions made to his foundation by others, among other fancy bookkeeping strategies.

Oh maybe. Once the primary is over and we all support Donald Trump for President, things will get back to normal. I personally have never seen the nastiness of the Cruz supporters in my life. I thought the anti-santorum people were horrible in 2012 but Cruz supporters have taken the lead on being jerks. Sorry but that is just true.

Almost every new land use action or development requires the developer to “donate” land from the development to other uses, like parks and open spaces. Often even low income housing. It is simply a cost of doing business with the government.

His bible quotes demonstrate that he has spent no time in church, or at least he never paid attention. I don’t hold this against him. I still much prefer Cruz

But has he donated his used underwear to charity and taken a tax deduction for it?

“But has he donated his used underwear to charity and taken a tax deduction for it?”

Really. What amazes me is that Clinton was so class-less that he actually put that in writing on his paperwork. They’re disgusting pigs, those Clintons.

There is not enough evidence to convict Trump of being a christian.

I am pretty sure an objective review of posts here will not support that statement.

I can make one post about Trump, with data I can support with links and I am attacked by multiple people not with debate but with insults.

Look at my pings and see how many times I insulted a FReeper, and how many times I was insulted by one.

The model Trump’s insulting, condescending style here. I get it. I’m not whining. I can handle it. I call them out in calm terms periodically.

But your assertion is just not accurate.

His Trump for Vets event was a real success tonight. Rick S., Gov Huckaby, and a special wounded warrior Green Beret all spoke. Diamond and Silk were on stage as well. Go TRiUMPh

Trump for Vets event was a real success tonight.

I think Trump helped himself immensely and also struck a HUGE BLOW to his competitors tonight.

I WATCHED the entire event on C-SPAN.. Not CNN.

Following the conclusion of the event C-SPAN took their usual phone calls from "Democrats".. "Republicans".. and "Independents"

I listened to no less than 15 callers from these different categories ALL said they were voting for Trump.

I was stunned to hear 3 Democrat callers say that what Trump did tonight made them change their mind and were now going to vote for Trump.

Their main point was that FINALLY someone was standing up for America.

Nearly everyone alluded to how Trump got off the stage and let the Veteran with a prosthetic leg talk to the crowd and the C-SPAN audience.

I noticed, during a quick switch, that CNN covered these parts by letting their "pundits" talk rather than allowing people to be won over by what was being said. If I lie, I die. I believe Trump is NOT even aware of the inroads he made tonight.

He won the hearts of many, many Dems and Independents tonight.

Here's a C-SPAN replay link of the entire event.
