CNN had an IAVA spokesman on this morning. He said Trump did not have any substance on Veterans affairs. When questioned which GOP candidate he supported, he said none of them have very clear plans for Vets. When questioned again, he finally said, "Hillary has the best program for Vets"

I wonder if all IAVA members support their leadership.

So this leftist turns down money for his people to put his personal political opinion out there, nice. No wonder the country’s gone to hell.

Wiki the guy. He wrote a book against George W.

He’s an active supporter of “don’t ask don’t tell.”

‘Nuff said!

"Hillary has the best program for Vets"

I gave this guy the benefit of the doubt because I thought his objection was the politicization of his cause.

I hereby retract that benefit.

So this liberal activist says he will not accept money that has not been offered to him; Fox makes it a newsworthy item as a way to bash Trump.

I’m not a Trump backer but as a veteran this is bullshiite. There is a dirty little secret out there that needs to be exposed. 22 veterans a day are killing themselves. Trump may or may not be using this fundraiser as an opportunity to stick it to Fox News. I don’t care! If what he does tonight helps get the message out I’m happy. For too long our great republic has pushed our veterans to the side. Think about what would happen if 22 people from some other group were killing themselves daily.

Nobody offered this group any money— nor would they have— I heard Code Pink also said they were not accepting donations from Trump either...

Paul Reichoff has been exploiting our Veterans for years and lining his pockets. He has hurt our Vets with his PTSD crap more than he has ever helped them. I blame him more than anyone for our Vets having their guns taken away due too all his “exploitation” of the PTSD issue.

Iraq and Afghanistan Veteran

Left-wing political action group that slapped a "Vets" label on themselves.

SOP for the Dems, the GOP has Vet groups so they have to have their own "counter" to that group. One of the weaknesses of the GOPE, they are too stupid to oranize their own political action groups to counter these clowns.

“Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America founder Paul Rieckhoff”

Paul Rieckhoff is an ardent leftist, progressive, liberal, Democrat POS. He founded an organization of ONE with an important sounding name during the GWB administration with one purpose: attack GWB, Conservatives, and Republicans.

Trump should call this asshole out by name and tell all of the Veterans and Veteran groups/organizations that not ONE PENNY of any money raised will go to this jerk or his group.

I wonder if all IAVA members support their leadership.

You don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

These people are paid to solicit donations and then when someone offers them millions of dollars they say they will turn it down?

What about the veterans who would benefit from this money? Does he care about that?

I think this is nothing but a big publicity stunt by Trump, but if he raises millions of dollars for Vets, then it will be worth it.

I imagine, however, that if he held a benefit to build THE WALL, that he would get 10 times the donations that he will get for the vets. That seems to be the primary motivating factor for all of his supporters.
