A Chinese national has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to steal trade secrets after investigators say he stole valuable intellectual property from DuPont Pioneer and Monsanto.
On January 27, 2016, 46-year-old Mo Hailong, also known as Robert Mo, admitted to participating in a long term conspiracy to steal trade secrets from the U.S. agricultural companies.
Court records say Hailong participated in the theft of inbred corn seeds from fields in the Southern District of Iowa for the purpose of transporting the seeds to China. The stolen inbred, or parent, seeds were the valuable intellectual property of DuPont Pioneer and Monsanto.
During the course of the conspiracy, Hailong was employed as the Director of International Business of the Beijing Dabeinong Technology Group Company, commonly referred to as DBN. DBN is a Chinese conglomerate with a corn seed subsidiary company, Kings Nower Seed. Hailong is a Chinese national who became a lawful permanent resident of the United States pursuant to an H-1B visa.
The investigation was initiated when DuPont Pioneer security staff detected suspicious activity and alerted the Federal Bureau of Investigation. DuPont Pioneer and Monsanto were fully cooperative throughout the investigation.
Hailong will be sentenced at a date to be determined in Des Moines, Iowa. Conspiracy to steal trade secrets is a felony that carries up to 10 years of imprisonment and up to a $250,000 fine. As part of the plea agreement in this case, the government agreed not to seek more than a five-year prison sentence.
Hailong will also forfeit a 40 acre property in Monee, Ill. and another in Redfield, Iowa.
This matter was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The case was prosecuted by the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Iowa and the National Security Division's Counterintelligence and Export Control Section.
Why does the US still issue H-1b visas when we have engineers and computer programmers, unemployed?
Because the Uniparty's corporate masters want to further fatten their wallets by decimating the American middle class.
Or was yours a rhetorical question? ;-D
In 2013, Sen. Cruz proposed amendments to the "Gang of 8" bill that would strengthen border security, expand green card opportunities, increase high-skilled "H1B" visas, prevent illegal aliens from receiving welfare benefits, and enforce the rule of law.Was he lying then or is he lying now?
Wait a minute, I thought the Chinese where model immigrants.
The H-1b visa program is used to lower wages of Americans. Simple as that.

The H1-B is the visa which TED CRUZ plans on having FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND more of. And that's just what he says, so you can count on a million---to start with. These are the GOOD jobs.
Every city has THOUSANDS of either laid off, let go and replaced by Indians, recent college grads--who are ready, willing and more than able to do these jobs.
These are the jobs where the American is let go, replaced by an Indian with an H1-B visa, and the American must TRAIN and educate the H1-B in how to do the job the American is losing. If the American doesn’t willingly train the one who took his job, the American will lose his severance pay of even his pension.

Because people like Ted Cruz in the Senate has supported it because their “campaign donors” (read: bribes) told them to.
(Ted Cruz wanted another 325,000 H-1B foreign tech workers to come here this year.)
Not so: âTed Cruz, Jeff Sessions Roll Out Antidote To Broken H-1B Program: American Jobs First Actâ -As I recall he said he would suspend the program for 6 months. Is there something magic about a 6 month period fixing anything other than peoples memories of promises?.
Regardless. Is what he has on his official Senate website a lie, or is he lying now?
Both Cruz and Sessions admit to lying about an amendment to kill the gang of 8 bill.
Now, how will we know when they aren't lying about a proposal they make?...Which one is the lie? we know for sure one of them is.
As I recall
Don't just recall - click the link: This bill proposes quite a bit more than a suspension.
Is what he has on his official Senate website a lie, or is he lying now?

Offering a poison-pill amendment is not "lying" by any reasonable definition.
It’s easier to manage a person without many options, such as H1-b’s. They only will include citizens when they are on equal footing with the Third World.
I oppose H1B Visas, but Monsanto is evil. Did you know that farmers (American farmers, right here in the good ol' U.S. of A.) are not allowed to harvest seed from crops grown from Monsanto seed? That is, if you grow crops from Monsanto seed, you're not allowed to replant the seed from those crops. Because Monsanto has a patent on its seed. In the old days, you could buy seed, plant it, and then replant the seed created by those crops. Not so with Monsanto seeds:
