as a long-time observer of Clinton/Democrat scandals, I agree there are strong forces being employed to keep this scandal contained and the damage to Hillary minimized. My opinion, after absorbing the leaks released the last several days, is that the accumulated crimes are too great and the "forces employed" are inadequate to stop this. When this finally blows open, it will be big.
This means shrillary didn’t originate the classification:

She committed a crime but will never be prosecuted by our corrupt “justice” department.
During the Clinton Administration, Chinese agents were said to have infiltrated Los Alamos or some other top secret military research facility and made off with military secrets. If true, why was this not as severe a breech of national security and treasonous negligent (at best) as Hillary's emails?
It is up to the DOJ to pursue these matters to bring these traitors to justice.

It was not long ago that reports surfaced about Hillary's informal intel network and the Clinton tactic of securing patronage jobs in the intelligence community for promoting their own interests. This is why the intelligence source in the Fox News report said, "The bureau [FBI] does not waive its primacy in espionage cases."
The FBI appears to have moved from a criminal investigation into an espionage investigation.
