Let it not be said that we fail to follow through.
Outlined below is part of the video from a 19 minute segment Megyn Kelly ran on her show allowing Glenn Beck to launch an attack against Donald Trump without any push-back.
The entire âinterviewâ (actually a one-way diatribe) was targeted to a Fox audience that has not, and does not, pay attention to political comings and goings 24/7/365; in essence, the casual political follower.
There is a lot of misinformation in that entire exposition; but one very specific part of the misinformation that needs to be showcased, and, as luck would have it, exists within our archives â because of the intense importance the moment provided in understanding what was going on in DC.
More specifically, this is part of the accountability we promised in 2009/2010 when we campaigned for and financially supported the Tea Party Candidates.

Fox, that fired Beck because Beck was going against everything Fox was preaching, and because Beck was seen as going crazy, now wants him on their network to slam Trump. Just proves more of Fox’s hypocrisy.
TED CRUZ - THE REALITY OF THE SITUATION
Senator Cruz took office in January, 2013. January through September of 2013 Cruz campaigned against Obamacare, forcing a government shutdown. It appeared he was doing the right thing â for the right reasons. However, he received intense backlash for a junior senator with only a few months on the job. He was ridiculed and marginalized. Then, he made a telling decision.
In October of 2013 Cruz made a strategic decision to regain credibility and influence. To achieve this he partnered with the very political machine he previously opposed, including the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and then Senate Minority Leader, Mitch McConnell.
McConnell directed Cruz to join the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
Through 2014 Cruz served as Vice-Chair inside the NRSC, a powerful part of the DC machine. He forwarded their program refusing to assist any political entity not in alignment with the group's objectives. In short, he sold his soul to McConnell Inc. In early 2014, McConnell vowed to beat back tea party candidates wherever they surfaced. "I think we are going to crush them everywhere," he said in March, 2014.
Cruz publicly separated himself from McConnell Inc., but carried the objectives of the 2013 plan forward quietly behind the scenes. While publicly railing against what he called the DC Cartel, a group he was bound to assist from his prior pledge to them, he worked to achieve their goals nonetheless. When the President of the Chamber of Commerce called for an immigration package, conservatives erupted, accusing the Chamber of supporting amnesty to line the pockets of big business.
Senator Ted Cruz never once campaigned for a conservative in the 2014 mid-term races, nor did he ever discuss the absence of a federal budget once Republicans were in control of both the House and the Senate.
Rand Paul and Ted Cruz appeared on the Sean Hannity Program on January 13, 2014. Both Senators said they would not help new conservative faces attempting to unseat incumbents in that year's primaries.
Both Ted Cruz and Rand Paul were strongly supported and would not have won without support from the grass roots and the Tea Party. However, when they were needed most â they chose to stand on the sidelines.
the reality of the situation
If “they” are successful at getting Trump out, Cruz will fail and Jeb will be the nominee. Just what everyone at FOX wants. The Cruzers will be dumbfounded.
The right has always dreamed of a candidate like Trump against the left! Where stuff doesn’t stick, eliminating PC, getting rid of Obamacare, getting rid of Common Core, Department of Education, lowering the debt, reducing trade imbalance, building a wall! Take on the media!
So Cruz, Cruzers and other so called Conservatives have been attacking his Conservatism, his faith, his personality, his marriages, his business deals, accusing him of being afraid of Meghan Kelly. Rush refuted this strongly this morning.
What’s disappointing is the infighting. Not looking at your candidate realistically. This would be over if it was any other candidate with Trump’s poll numbers except Trump or Cruz. Which is why Cruz won’t be nominated. Sorry Cruzers.
Trump’s not the person you would have picked if you were God, eh?
I thought the part of the agreement was that they only campaign for incumbents and that Paul and Cruz went along with that.
He is the smartest one in the room
Certainly not lying Cruz
Aria, was this aired tonight, following Michael Moore last night?
Catch up mode…
Good grief. @glennbeck said he lost support for @RandPaul because rand cut deal with McConnell. Cruz cut the same deal at the same time.

Let it not be said that we fail to follow through.
Outlined below is part of the video from a 19 minute segment Megyn Kelly ran on her show allowing Glenn Beck to launch an attack against Donald Trump without any push-back.
The entire “interview” (actually a one-way diatribe) was targeted to a Fox audience that has not, and does not, pay attention to political comings and goings 24/7/365; in essence, the casual political follower.
There is a lot of misinformation in that entire exposition; but one very specific part of the misinformation that needs to be showcased, and, as luck would have it, exists within our archives – because of the intense importance the moment provided in understanding what was going on in DC.
More specifically, this is part of the accountability we promised in 2009/2010 when we campaigned for and financially supported the Tea Party Candidates.
The original Tea Party patriots, grassroots, supported Senators Rand Paul and Ted Cruz. Many people in the past several months have asked when we discovered that Cruz was a fraud. We have repeatedly outlined a very specific time frame when Ted Cruz’s “pivot point” was identified.
In this video (prompted to @03:10) you hear Glenn Beck mention when and why he gave up on Rand Paul. Beck claims he became disgusted with the Senator when he made a deal with Mitch McConnell. You only need to see about 30 seconds of it to understand. Watch:
Glenn Beck Explains Why He's Endorsing Ted Cruz
Glenn Beck then goes on to say the deal with Mitch is why he dropped support for Rand Paul and yet supports Ted Cruz.
Here’s the problem….
Actually, here’s the lie…
Senator Rand Paul and Senator Ted Cruz made the same deal, together, at exactly the same time.
Stop – Repeat !
“The deal”, as Beck describes it, was actually real – and did actually take place. The deal was to go along with Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell’s overall objectives, electoral objectives AND legislative objectives, as the GOP entered into the 2014 mid-term election cycle.
The deal, which few were tracking at the time, was a deal made just before the legislative Christmas holiday and just after congress returned the following year. “The Deal” was made in December 2013 and January 2014.
Both Senator Rand Paul and Senator Ted Cruz agreed with congressional leadership (McConnell) to go along with the GOP leadership’s electoral/legislative priorities. That was the deal.
Here is an important, but again overlooked, video which took place on January 29th 2014which discusses the current state of Capitol Hill, the state of the union and the upcoming mid-term elections. Watch the whole video if desired -OR- just skip to @15:46.
Sen. Ted Cruz and Sen. Rand Paul React to State of the Union with Sean Hannity
Both Rand Paul and Ted Cruz agreed to stay out of the mid-term elections for incumbents at the request of Mitch McConnell.
Glenn Beck chooses to remember Rand Paul, but conveniently chooses to forget Ted Cruz cut the EXACT SAME deal.
BACK-STABBING LAP DOGS – When Rand Paul was running for Senator in Kentucky 2010 the GOP machine and Mitch McConnell supported the other guy in the primary, Trey Grayson.
What Mitch McConnell does not want people to know: Trey Grayson is now the head of Democrat Gabby Giffords SuperPac – He works with Robert Reich, Bill Clinton’s former Labor Secretary:
Trey Grayson, the former Kentucky secretary of state and Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate in 2010, is running a political action committee formed by former U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords that will try to elect Democrats who want to work with Republicans. (link)
When Ted Cruz was running for Senate in Texas 2012, Mitch McConnell supported the other guy in the primary, David Dewhurst.
Cruz’s resurgence was surprising for many reasons. Dewhurst, the current lieutenant governor, has the support of the state’s powerful Republican establishment, including Gov. Rick Perry — himself a Tea Party figurehead. Dewhurst has outspent Cruz nearly 3-to-1, even though major outside groups like FreedomWorks have backed Cruz. Dewhurst also had the benefit of a large personal fortune to aid him. (link)
Both Ted Cruz and Rand Paul were strongly supported but the Tea Party, and would not have won without the support from the grass roots. We rose up against their adversaries in the GOPe, and specifically Mitch McConnell.
However, in 2014, when they were needed most -especially in Kentucky- they choose to align with McConnell and stand on the sidelines. Obviously, in order to reconcile his advocacy in 2016 Glenn Beck needs to overlook one participant in that “Deal With McConnell”.
But wait, yes, it gets better….
…. Or, much worse, depending on how you look at it.
Yes, we actually follow stuff this closely. Even if we don’t write about every scintilla of activity, you can be guar-an-damn-teed we log it for later reference. For exact moments like this when the truth, and the liars, needs to be revealed.
Remember the 2014 Mississippi Primary Fraud?
Here’s is a video/audio you must ABSOLUTELY listen to, in order to understand what’s going on today – AND – how radio host Mark Levin has been covering for Senator Ted Cruz for more than just a couple of months.
Listen, it is well worth a few minutes of your time. Listen to it all.
Ted Cruz calls for full investigation of Cochran election fraud
You’ll note in the interview that Senator Ted Cruz seems to express disgust and outrage at the tactics being deployed by what he calls the “DC Machine”.
Senator Cruz states the campaign conduct in the Mississippi runoff was “incredibly disappointing” etc. and even goes on to say an investigation is warranted.
Eventually, we found out who paid for those racist attack ads, and who paid for the phone calls, and who paid for the Democrats to come out and support Thad Cochran in the Mississippi primary runoff.
Oh, we found out alright.
It was the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) FEC Filing LINK
The NRSC, the actual Republican Party itself, was funding racist attack ads against it’s own party candidate.
Gobsmackingly UNREAL !
And… who do you think was in leadership of that NRSC making those decisions?
Quid Pro Quo ?
Brilliant satire.
Maybe maybe not, Beck involved means it’s insanity.
Agreed, Cruz made a mistake having Beco in his court
Or it just proves Fox is going crazy, too.
I don’t think it was aired anywhere...just posted on The Conservative Treehouse tonight.
Maybe I didn’t understand your question?
Dear Lord, is there a bottom to this sewer? I’m starting to lose hope that we can fix it because it’s every damn one of them.
Except Trump and he’s alone.
Where are all the Cruz supporters?????
When lawyers smirk the angels weep.

Another very solid post.
Too bad we don’t have a REAL conservative TV network. They’d need you!
Thanks for the post.
I have been hawking the connection to the Mississippi Treatment, by Ted Cruz, the moment we learned he went dark during the senatorial election because he was serving on the NSRC and gave McConnell $200,000.00 and asked no questions I’m sure.
I remember when McConnell called that secret evening time meeting that was alluded to in the press which was passed off as a fund raiser among senators, but we couldn’t get much coverage of who attended. Present or not, the check was in the mail.
We know where it went in one case. The Haley Barbour machine grabbed it and managed to strike Chris McDaniels, the conservative and TP candidate who was leading in that race, against the Establishment mule, Thad Cochran.
The rest is history.
Thanks for the link. It is difficult to understand the corruption in DC. Conservative Treehouse explains things clearly. I support Trump. Cruz would be second best president. Fox is losing power to influence voters. Cruz’s double dealing will lose votes. And Beck’s fine books will be ignored now that he insulted Trump and middle class Americans like me as well. Insulting and double dealing are not ethical activities and make a candidate repulsive.
