Maybe Trump will hold that lead over the next few days, who knows? As a perpetual reminder, Rick Santorum trailed in Iowa by 15 points a week before he won the caucuses in 2012, so it's very smart to assume that things could change dramatically.
But polling often does a poor job of predicting one of the most important aspects of what will happen on the night of the caucuses: Who will turn out and for whom. I've been on a bit of a kick to this effect for a few days now, but I can't reinforce it enough. If Trump or Cruz can't get their people to the polls, an easy race can become a close race and a close race can become a disaster.
We noted on Tuesday that Trump's base in Iowa is less likely to turn out...

Cruz has hundrends on the ground in Iowa daily contacting voters in Iowa. Trump just holds rallies then flies back to New York. Guess he’s more interested in daily tweeting than staying in Iowa daily till the caucus vote
Yes, NOOB, he is. You seem very confused.
............................................................................................
Look who is calling who a noob. Jeez, you crack me up.

WENDLE signed up 7/4/2015 — pretty NOOB to me; likely came here in support of his messiah, IMHO.
So it was Trump the created the Putin press release that FOX sent out? Was it Trump that hired the Muslim and alien activist plants ?
Have inside info on that?
LOL!
About your tagline: the borrower is slave to the lender. Trump owes BILLIONS.
Biblical metaphors won’t make Cruz anymore palatable to the voters. It doesn’t blind them to the realities of who Cruz is or his behavior.
Ted Cruz has 12,000 volunteers, 880 precinct captions, 800 drivers for caucus nite!!!
Yet Cruz could only scrape together a couple hundred people for a rally in Iowa today. And that’s after billing it as a “Pro Life” rally. Some numbers not adding up here.
Inside their heads....that’s where their *info* comes from.
This is getting funnier by the minute, with some of these posts :)
Iowa, Schmiowa.
“What do Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, Michael Dukakis, Mitt Romney and John McCain all have in common? All of these politicians went on to win their partyâs presidential nomination after losing the Iowa caucus.”
Hey, I’ve seen that guy...
LOL
Not really.
Not questioning that Fox does not like Trump . . . just wondering if it helps him to bypass the voters. Trump is not a strong Christian - if one at all. As others have suggested to me in the past; however, we are electing a president - not a pastor.
Iowans are none for their biblical stand and they will ask questions.
I notice that Hillary also avoids ‘uncomfortable’ places.
And some attend his rallies to throw things at,him.
That’s what the Trump canvassers hear all day, over and over from loyal Cruz for President households! Trump is losing his people hand over fist to the Cruz campaign this way!
We noted on Tuesday that Trump’s base in Iowa is less likely to turn out...
Except thank God that Trump has Santorum’s Iowa Campaign Manager from 2012 who gave Santorum the win. He knows Iowa like the back of his hand. After hearing this, we are in good shape. Don’t worry about Trump. He is going to win Iowa.
They also ran the same platform and not the Club for Growth platform.
Just curious. You keep posting this, but never seem to have any links to verify..
Would it be safe to assume they are all from RedState?
I’ve watched various rallies and haven’t seen that...but we’re about to start finding out.
So nbc = citizen at birth? If so then why make the distinction? Why the new term?
Too bad Churchill never ran!
. . .And I got twice as many emails from Ted and Heidi asking for $$ than anyone else’s campaign. Sometimes 4-5 a day. I found it pretty damn annoying. Unsubscribe.
