Just listened and watched it.

I have a question about an instrument. During the first movement the camera showed two horn players to the left of the drums. They looked like trumpets but were much too long to be trumpets.

Are they some type of special concert trumpet or some other type of horn?

Hope you can help me with this, I played the trumpet in my youth.

Those are Baroque trumpets without valves, period instruments, so they are single-pitch trumpets. This means that there are some notes that the trumpets cannot reach. Composers of the period knew this and didn’t write those notes for the trumpet. It’s probably a C-trumpet. Trumpets with valves came later.
