Rather than resign, could Comey simply hold a press conference and announce that he is beginning an investigation into possible obstruction of justice at the Justice Department and White House if they ignore the FBI’s recommendation to indict? Even a press conference offering it as a possibility would likely get some movement. If nothing else the Justice Department would have to appoint a Special Prosecutor if the Attorney General were potentially a target of and FBI investigation herself, correct?
Nope, never gonna happen. The democrats wouldn’t turn on Charles Mansion or Jack the Ripper if he were one of them and the bureaucracy for all it’s talk of independence and professionalism are liberal democrat party hacks.
