A friend was in the Navy under Carter and then Reagan. While under Carter Syrian jets would fly between the ship-s masts and break the sound barrier. It caused brken ear drums and broken glass. When Reagan was elected, they kept a respectful distance.
It wasn’t ransom, it was “rent.”
It bought several insult-free days. Now they’re back at it.
The message to “O” is: “Keep the funds coming, if you don’t want us to make you and your party look like crap during the coming election season,”
